Endgame vampires

This is a simple suggestion:
When it gets down to one vampire and one town member, that town member should win along with the vampires.

When I was just in this scenario, I was transporter. It should have been at worst a draw (when did that stop being a thing?), but I immediately lost.
Since vampires can't actually kill townies, there is only one end to that game, which is for the townie to be converted. Saving the day it takes to arrive at that end seems wise, but making the townie lose that victory not so much.

This is one of many situations where the stalemate detector kicks in. I agree with you that this situation gets it wrong.

This problem only occurs with Jailor (without executions) and Transporter. For any other Town vs Vampire 1v1 situation, the game will continue and allow the Vampire to convert the last town member. A Veteran can even win the game for Town if they still carry alerts. The problem I have with Jailor and Transporter losing this set-up by default is that Escort doesn't. Escort is normally included in the stalemate detector, yet the game will continue if it is Escort vs Vampire. This allows the Escort to essentially choose whether to stay loyal to Town and stall for a draw, or to not role-block and defect to the Vampires for a victory.

I don't see why Escort has the opportunity to Win or Draw, yet the Jailor and Transporter both autolose. This needs fixing. :Thonk:

I'll go check out the stalemate detector. If Escort vs Vamp is indeed not included, I'll be sure to ask whether this is intentional or an oversight.

Thanks for the info.
