Change "mayor" in coven

HÍ My sister and I had an idea. (In coven only) have mayor be an unavailable role and instead be replaced with "Governer." This role would be similar to the mayor, but with slight buffs. to offset the added power(s), the coven would automatically start with the knowledge if a governer was a role a player currently in the game was playing as. This would, at least in my opinion, be an exciting new change. If not permanently added, I would like to see a trial run in an even (like for a Christmas special (just an example)) to see how the general player base enjoys the change.

What's the difference between Governer and Mayor, and why does Mayor need to be removed from Coven? And why do you want Coven to know exactly who it is from day dot?

there is a place for role ideas, no roles can be removed, mayor is too op, and this isnt a buff, its a nerf.

Mayor isn't nearly as powerful in coven due to how much easier it is for them to die.

Isn't it equally easy for ANY role to randomly die?

Not really. You claim jailor, you're going to protected most of the time. Mayor tends to be protected as well. Honestly, those are the roles protected the most which means other roles have a higher chance of dying. The thing with coven is that there are more roles that can kill with different ways.

Thats what happens when you allow tpows to not only roll, but have a good chance of rolling. It removes all strategy from it.
