Double First Night Length

When you're playing with random teammates, that first night is not nearly enough time to coordinate an entire game's worth of strategy for the mafia -- yet coordination is the main advantage mafia has over town. If you double first night length, yeah it makes town's first night a bit more boring, but see it as compensation for town's ability to coordinate strategy *between* games through online strategies and strategies shared through games. But on the plus side, it could make mafia an actual team, and drawing attention to the first night's different length could encourage strategizing where there otherwise would be an empty chat box.

it would be cool if they took the time lost in day and put it in the night, that way people get some time to actually think

I agree too. Mafia and Coven are expected to have a gameplan, so they should be given time to make one N1.

Absolutely. As it stands you can barely make a game plan N1, and you certainly can't have a good discussion about it and make backup plans.
