New role idea: Sniper!

Your role is Sniper!

You are a keen eyed marksman gifted in the art of executing critical targets.

Faction: Town Killing

Defense: None

Attack: Powerful


Investigator results: Your target could be a Vigilante, Veteran, Sniper, Mafioso, or Ambusher.

Sheriff results: Your target seems innocent.

Consigliere/Witch/Coven Leader results: Your target is skilled in the art of precise killing. They must be a Sniper.

Abilities:
Take vengeance against evil in to your own hands. One shot, one kill.


Attributes
If you shoot another Town member you will commit suicide over the guilt.
You can only shoot your gun ONCE.
You cannot fire your sniper on the first night.
You do not count as visiting the target you shoot.
Originally I thought about maybe giving it RB imm. but after thinking it over I'm not sure. LMK what you think.

Final thoughts:

- A sort of variant of the Vigilante. Due to the powerful shot could turn the tide against NK and GF, but is an even larger target than VIG for witches, and picking the wrong target or a less important target like an obvious Jester would be a waste of the role.
- Due to the potential to be witched would not want to reveal to town.
- Must coordinate with town roles such as Escort, and Trans to ensure they hit the target.
- Might be an evil claim since evil roles like Mafia could easily explain why they aren't shooting targets adding to the reason not to claim this role.

Please leave feedback / suggestions to improve this role. It's definitely far from perfect, and I'm sure a lot of things about it could be changed while still keeping to its theme.
Also, I know this has no chance of ever making its way in to the game. I just made this for fun.

I know what I'm doing, generally, but I have no grace at all when things start to spin out of control.

I'd like to address the latter part, but I wouldn't know the first thing about that.

Seems like you just copied my exact idea and made it a town role instead of a Mafia role.

Also no guilt, guilt is already a bad concept which is just there to punish game throwers (even though there is a reporting system ). Roles shouldn't kill themselves because they make a mistake.

No, Vigi guilt should not exist. It is a very swingy implementation that often (especially with the current terrible playlist) puts the game in the evils favours just because of the mistake of one other person. Vigilante is far less powerful then Jailor (who doesn't die when he misexecutes). Roles in each sub-alignment should be balanced to other roles apart of the same alignment... which is not currently the case. Jailor is way more powerful then the other two (i dont count VH) Town Killing roles.

Vigilante guilt was implemented to prevent trolls and gamethrowning, but this game has a reporting system so this shouldn't be necessary. Vigilantes should be allowed to shoot again if they accidentally kill a town member. Sometimes a player deserved it and was clearly acting evil or sometimes they get unlucky and Witch finds them, but the Vigilante themself should not die from it.

I can accept vigilantes no longer dying from guilt, but allowing them to keep shooting is going too far. That's like saying we should allow mafia members to kill each other at night because there's a reporting system anyway.
Though I guess witches would love this vigi buff if it was implemented.

Perhaps in classic.... in coven its pretty balanced, vigi is dieing from CL drain the night he gets controlled to a townie anyway, so dieing from guilt is kinda moot, unless you're taking pot shots n2.

Also can you link the thread where its stated guilt was implemented to stop trolls and gamethrowers? Cos Ive seen a lot of trolling gamethrowers purposely kill townies even with guilt deaths being a thing.

Also theres a lot of times that the game swings as a result of a mistake by 1 player (more so when playing in an evil faction) so brain factor of people using the roles shouldnt even be considered, if youre thinking about balance....
