Account deletion and password reset webpages

I think it would have been best to have made an announcement and to have started with those with 0 games. This would purge a lot of the forum spam bots. Of course some alternate accounts would be lost, but that's unfortunate. Instead some accounts that were active on these forums at some point are gone. I sincerely doubt all of them played less than 10 games (I know at least one of them posted in the ToS Discussion subforum, and most of them played FM and I doubt somebody would come to that without playing at least 10 games) so unless each of them requested deletion... yeah I have my qualms.

Permabanned accounts should've been the first victims. Gets rid of the plethor of bot accounts from October.

will my account be deleted? this account doesn't have a ToS account linked to it, it was just an alt turned into my main at the start so it doesn't have one.

At some point you're going to delete a user who has actually died irl, this deleting their data and forum history, which stands as many's memory of them, and I salute your lack of foresight when you do.

I had made friends with people on this forum who have now passed. If their memory just suddenly vanished I would be left with nothing to remind me of the people they were. When I first heard about the termination of some accounts, I checked my late friend's accounts. Thank god that they are still there. But what if there was another wipe. They could be in the next one. Idk if anything im saying is making sense but think about your damn community.

I’m terribly sorry if some posts that were important to you were lost. When we migrate forums we won’t be carrying over a majority of the posts so I suggest you start backing up important posts now. If you have posts you want to keep forever perhaps run a backup webserver or upload them to a blockchain.
