It just means that was your first post on this forum (which it is).
I have mostly rescinded my role as Admin.

But I do still play the game occasionally and check on the news surrounding it. And I wanted to say that I'm honestly really glad for this change. I'm pretty sure I've said it a year or two ago but I was hoping the game would become paid-only, this will discourage people who dedicate themselves to gamethrowing/trolling, as I doubt they'd want to continuously pay $5 to do that. It used to bug me a lot when I only played Ranked. I don't know why people are upset, most people will still keep their accounts even if they haven't made any purchases, and being as it's only going to be a $5 game, it's not that big of a deal to pay for it, just like most games.

Or TOS lose more people since they dont wnna P2p, they're gona get less new players

If you have twelve dollars, you can pay for this game. Buy a Visa gift card with six dollars on it.

It’s not like they take any info, the game just isn’t free. (I will admit that to buy a Visa gift card costs a little money, but I’m sure there are cheaper alternatives)

Well sir, I am from a third world country.. my country doesn't sell gift cards. I am too young to own my own credit card of any sort. It's physically impossible for me to get the game and my parents doesn't like using their cards on non trusted websites.

The premium upgrade doesn't even make sense anymore now. 'Premium' means being able to play the game lol screw you BMG

It does make some sense, as there is also the trial access.
This is a working way to keep the trolls and bots out, though and this is what counts.

There are new players coming as far as I've seen, so your argument is invalid. Havign the game be p2p does help with improving the community, as people will think twice (or more) before breaking rules.
Lukirous wrote:I was really excited when I heard about this game from a friend such a shame I can't play how annoying

Well, you cannot play it for free, thats correct, yet the move to p2p was reasonable. The amount of money isn't that high to be unreachable for newer players to pay. Think about it, it can be worth it.
FortenGrey wrote:Let's be honest. You just did this, because of Moonman. :D

If you read the first post, then you'd know why the move happened. The caused chaos didn't come from nowhere.

I don't think there are new players. And I don't think you can see that.

You may doubt me as much as you wish, but there have been some newcomers or rather new created accounts after the p2p change with a premium account.

Of course there are. It's just much lesser.

Money is what keeps this game and the company running, the servers and such have to be paid, you know?
But BMG is not up to "steal" someones money. Additionally, you are free to pay or not, nothing is forcing you to do something.

Yeah you guys aren't stealing money, and also they must be paid, but i'm 1000000% sure they don't only get paid when people bought coven. Also people hardly actually bought skins too.

it was either that or the relentless botting and spammers destroy the game by driving players away from it. Lesser of 2 evils was moving to P2P.

Dear, Creator
I have noticed there are more people in ranked that are afk and more people that are using multi accounts so then they just have the that is a against them just leave for all the players they have I don't think the solution would be banning those players tho because you do have a chance of banning the wrong people and i just think your idea might fix a few problems but now why would someone want to pay for a game they might not like so they will prefer F2P or if there parents don't want to pay for a game then they won't ever be able to play this game

If you choose this path i do agree with djpumpumflood "Exactly, Soon they will see how making the game p2p crushes the future" it makes it so if i do share the game with someone they might not like it after a while they will and the old players will get sick of this game

So what will happen is the old players leave and the new players don't get a fun experience so then this game will die out. Also, think of this why not make ranked P2P and classic or ranked practice just F2P so then all the players u can make it so the people who want to play in a competive matter will play Ranked and pay

Also you run into this problem with P2P server games if u are not popular enough and I don't think town of salem is popular enough you won't make much of a profit

This might be helpful or useless but please take this into consideration

If you have not been grandfathered, then your last game was too long ago, so the grandfathering did not take place.

No. if someone's account was inactive for a good period of time they were not grandfathered in.

Were their last games longer ago than yours? Or longer ago than a year?

Should be the same time as mine, is there a way to check the match history?

There is no matchhistory implemented atm.

@Ondrashek: You are mistaken on being treated as a botter, as if you were one, then you'd be banned on sight. The paywall was created to grant more value to an account, so players are less tempted to break the games rules. Also do you receive ingame premium currency that is worth around the money you've spent, as well as a bonus item (a skin or a pet, depending on which way you go).

Have fun playing the game, maybe you change your mind.
