I get the bot situation was bad but it just means the community gets smaller and smaller every day.....old players are going inactive while not many new players will be joining. Especially in ranked communities this problem will be worse, I see the same players in games all the time already, pay to play will just mean an even smaller ranked community. I sincerely hope the bot problem will get cleared up.

EDIT: I've been without a computer for a while. Only just logged into the game on a new fresh account from my phone. Just saw how it actually lets you login. Kinda useless at that point. Should restrict the user at the homepage and have the accounts set with a flag whether new or not, and then get them to buy the game, not login and then clicking 'Play' triggering the option.

This means that troll posts, shitposts, any form of toxicity (note: complaints/criticisms aren't innately toxic, you make it become so with how things are worded), and posts that contribute misinformation are going to get you forum banned.

I'm actually liking this change. Maybe we'll finally have some quality games for once.

EDIT: $5 is a bit steep though for a Flash text-based game that's literally designed on the foundations Mafia. It still should be pay to play though but a bit expensive considering that $5 could also get you other games that may be better.

You are buying the "premium" version of the game, which also comes with the given perks (2000 TP, 2x mp and the skin/pet assosiated with that premium verison).

Imo there should be a choice to buy a non-premium version albeit cheaper because ppl might want to play but don't want the premium stuffs

I understand the necessity of this step, but share the concerns about the price being a bit steep. If the paywall only exists to prevent the bots from entering, because credit card fraud would be too bothersome to pull off, why not make the initial price lower? A 5$ purchase for a text based game, that you have no idea whether you will like or not, is amount worth considering for the majority of target demographic. Very risky move for already thinning playerbase as it is. Maybe the blow can be softened by making bot throttle pass a bit cheaper, 2$ max, and giving the ability to pay the rest if the players feel the actual need of getting the rest of the premium jingle jangle. But that's just my thoughts.

Another idea: Every paid account could let 3 accounts 'try-and-play' this means you could choose 3 ppl and they could try like 10 games. Some of you may say 'but this way if 1 bot buys an account, he can bot again'. That's not true. If you only allow 3 ppl to play 10 games, it's 4 bots per buy, which isn't much + it kind of fixes the problem with the new players that can't test it.
