I don't really play games with DLC, so I am just taking the words of others on the community splitting. Maybe give these game modes a play time requirement or something, so people will be rewarded to keep playing more? It has potential to do good cash wise as well. Just a thought.

For single player games like Zelda, it makes sense because you're expanding what you've created. But in strictly multiplayer games where there are paywalls for certain modes, you'll see a divide in the players: those who want to pay for the new stuff and those who don't. And it kills those games.

Assuming we've pretty much just heard about this I don't think many people have paid for it yet. (By that I mean nobody has)

No I'm 99% sure they just ripped the worst role ideas from Role Ideas because i remember seeing a few of the non-Coven ones

It would be nice if you could buy this expansion with Town Points, because I have over $20 in TP from funding the ToS Card Game. I'll gladly pay in cash though. The new roles sound great!

A lot of roles are OP, but it's hard to say anything until fully tested. I'm not going to complain because I could wake up tomorrow and it would just be another day of no new roles or updates coming to the game or I could be thankful this is even happening. I will probably hold out on paying for this until I know a lot of people who bought it or so forth, personally. It's a very secluded feeling to know it'll only be played with those who have paid, but I know it'll work out okay and a lot of the people who do purchase this are not gamethrowers or lobby spammers, etc.

I hope they decide to make a few new roles for the free version after this, otherwise they may lose the interest of those who can not pay. (Though, seriously if you can't afford $10...get off the internet).

Reviews or whatever I guess:
Spoiler: Hex Master: Very interesting, a role you need to get rid of without even knowing it is there
Poisoner: Nice
Potion Master: A JOAT role in ToS is good
Medusa: This seems very powerful, hope the ability is limited like the Veteran or this role could curbstomp
Necromancer: Pretty good
Coven Leader: This wasn't the buff I admittedly wanted Witch to have but a buff is a buff
The faction as a whole: I hope this won't exist alongside Mafia, except perhaps in All Any, as ToS doesn't really have enough slots for a Multiball
The Necronomicon thingy: Interesting, hope the Coven are told who has it and it's not a secret

Crusader: DEUS VULT! Admittedly the RNG is a little annoying, but it's about time we had protection against Blackmailers and whatnot
Tracker: I only wish this was replacing Spy :c
Trapper: I like
Psychic: When it says "three roles" does it mean 3 roles currently in the game or 3 players' names because either way this is powerful my god
The faction as a whole: Solid, with the slight exception of Crusader

Ambusher: Interesting, I assume this doesn't promote to Mafioso, which would be good, I'd still prefer Mafia Tactical but more Mafia Killing is good,
also it can fakeclaim Crusader I guess
Hypnotist: Ayy, it's Prankster/Drug Dealer, congrats (Guzame + Invenio)/Kirize
The faction as a whole: Not much, but pretty good

Guardian Angel: A reverse executioner has been suggested for a while now and I can definitely see this working, plus it adds more variety to NB which is nice
Pirate: [insert obligatory lazytown meme], honestly, this seems a little forced, and definately seems like the role that would potentially need the most tweaks, winning two games of Rock Paper Scissors doesn't seem like a difficult wincon, however it makes Vampire less likely to appear in NC so that's okay with me
Plaguebearer/Pestilence: I prefer my Plague Doctor, but this still seems cool
Mystery NK: I can't really say anything about this
The faction as a whole: Possibly the very definition of a mixed bag

Gamemodes: Seem nice, except VIP mode which I can see getting infuriating

Two questions:
1. How is the Necronomicon distributed/how do it work?
2. What are the Coven subalignments?

This should be unlocked at 1k games or ~5000 town points as an alternative to $10
I dont mind paying $10 and if it stays that way I would still buy it but the division of the community can be solved by allowing it to be purchased for ingame currency too
