Patch 1.5.10 War-Torn Christmas!

Having a problem (not sure if anyone else had this problem,didn't really look up to see if anyone else has it) :

I bought Town of Salem on Steam a while ago and now, with this new patch, I didn't get my +700 Town Points and the skin.

How do I get them?

Also, some friends did the name thing to get that reaper skin for me and I didn't get it. I asked 5 friends, they all put my name in and I didn't get 1 single reward. May I ask what the hell is going on? Why am I not getting my rewards?

I did'nt know that swapping the same player count as a transport message for that player. Now I know it and I'm glad they delete that.

We don't have a solid date, but the Tutorial is nearing completion and for the sake of wanting to get the new users prepared as soon as possible we may release that early.

A new tutorial, nice! I'm curious of how this goes.

I started playing when the game was in 1.3.3 and after the tutorial, I thought that everyone's goal was to be the last person alive lol

My first time playing this game was on around november 2014 when Chilled Choas post TownOfSalem (I think it was same date as episode 10, that is November 5). I watched someone video's of him and I have no idea how it works. I only knew that green is good, red is evil and did'nt know what the other colors do. I can still remember that people complain how I played this game for example: my first role is medium and I have no idea what the purpose is of a medium, when the only thing you do is talking to people at night. So I typed everything that the death says on the day chat and hope for the best.
It took me like 50 games to fully understand classic.

Your account was created in 2015 yet you say your first game was in 2014......seems legit.

Probably not possible to differentiate, so it's likely too late now

But how do you differentiate between people who bought it before and those who bought it after? Unless they already had set it up in advance, I don't think that's doable.

? They did in this 1.5.10 patch. Or are you wanting double transporting back in? Amnesiacs can no longer remember cleaned roles and Transporters can no longer double transport a person. If a Transporter tries doing so, the action will not actually go through and their target will receive no notification as a result.

It doesn't say it, but the change was added in [tested and confirmed]. I think that may be considered a bug fix.

In addition, for Custom and Rapid Modes: It's no longer possible to place more than 6 of one role or type in the role list. (Cannot have more than 6 Mediums for example. Cannot have more than 6 Town Supports for another example.) You also cannot have more than 3 "Any" roles.

Hm. I don't like neither of this changes. Now amnesiacs cannot be fooled into remembering evil cleaned roles and cannot play random. And restricting custom is also bad Imo.
I hope both changes get reverted.

The taunts were planned to be added for 1.6.0 or later the whole time.

With patch 1.5.9 on the verge of going live (just squashing the last few bugs) I want to talk about a new system we are designing for patch 1.6.0+. This system is still at the design level so this is your chance to provide feedback!

Elo is a sistem used to rate players in ranked. Everyone starts with 1200 Elo, and after each ranked game, everyone gains or loses Elo, depending of if they won or lost the match.
As town, you gain only a few Elo if you win (1-5, usually), and lose a lot if you lose (+6)
As mafia you gain a lot if you win (+6) and lose a few if you lose (3)
As NK you gain a lot if you win (+6, even +10) and lose almost nothing if you lose (1).
As a not factional role, you gain/lose 6 Elo per game (aprox).

In ranked, players are supposed to be matched with other players with their similar Elo.

trans needs to be changed big time. i was just in a game where i played spy as the blackmailer, got all the way to only mayor and trans, targeted trans because i knew he'd trans mayor with himself, killed mayor and STILL LOST. the mafioso shouldn't be able to kill themselves, and the trans shouldn't default win 1v1. that is some real bs right there.

Isn't there some sort of confirmation code they can PM the devs to get those 700?

um before the update Steam only give 1300 town point so 700 town points is for ppl who bought the steam version before? ._.
