It works just fine. Make sure pop-ups aren't disabled (just to be on the safe side, this likely isn't the issue) and if you have AdBlock, turn it off.

It also wouldn't hurt to try clearing your browser's cache.

Would that be if no Mafia is left alive, and amnesiac becomes a random mafia role. Does it go straight to Mafioso?

Valve takes really long to release games. Like a 16 year wait for Half-Life 2 or 9 year development cycle.
