That's right Townies! The first big goal of our Kickstarter is coming out in less than a month! We will post more details as it gets closer. :)

Well I guess now we can use the ToS steam community.
Great work, hope to hear more.

Now I actually have a reason to use Steam! :D

Just to make sure... this is Windows AND Mac, correct?

Awesome. The Mac Revolution can continue as planned and we can still play Town of Salem.

Word on the street is $5... but I don't think that's confirmed.

$5?
Let's hope not. Because I can just play in my web browser, and the microtransactions + game costing money = BMG has become a indie game version of EA. And due to me being able to play for free in my web browser is counter-intuitive. Even if it comes with $5 worth of town points, shouldn't that be standard for all games with microtransaction currency? Especially with the donors not getting the redeem key/codes. Unless they did not bother to say that. What would $5 worth of town points get you, anyway?
1 of ANY kind of item in the store.
lmao what do i even put here

Just in time for the Autumn-Winter Steam Sale! I look forward to being one of the first people logging 100+ hours on this game on Steam!

I'm guessing the in-game achievements will be tied to identical Steam achievements?

Also I wonder if there will be Steam trading cards for this game too...

When reading up on this, the last time something was said about the Steam Price, The game was estimated at $5, But that included not only the Steam version but also $5 credit of Town Coins, so in a way it is free, just you have to buy coins to get the steam version free. Also for all you $5 or more backers out there from the last Kickstarter, You all get the Steam and Mobile Versions Free.

No, both will be on the exact same codebase.

No, both will be on the exact same codebase.

They will both be updated at the same time. Consider them one and the same.

So I'm going to ask this question since it seems appropriate.

Who here is going to use the browser version or the steam version?

I'm probably going to stay with browser version, all things considered. Much more accessible to me that way. What do you guys thing?

I'll probably use both for whenever I need them. I'd like to have it on steam just so I can click it and play, rather than log in. Also will most likely use it for playing with friends.
