Most people just left tbh
Yeah i dont know why everyone is a nk fan now but before it felt like nks were hated
Hated because of their "low win rate" because they're a high skill curve.
When you've got nobody to back you up on your lies it's hard to win, same thing with solo Maf.
But people don't complain about being the last Mafia standing in ranked, do they?
Really, it's not so much that there are more nk fans as there are now more
vocal NK fans. And some people who were casually interested in NK and then that got taken away from them in all of the modes except classic.
Maybe that's the problem. Maybe no normal modes have a Neutral (Killing) slot. I mean, we have Serial Killer in classic and that's about it.
Sure, NK's a "chaotic" role but if I were naming the subalignments I'd change them to:
Neutral (Evil) -
evil factions unto themselves: they can kill, and are opposed to Town, Coven, Mafia, and Vampires.
- Serial Killer
- Arsonist
- Werewolf
- Juggernaut
Neutral (Chaotic) -
anti-factional- Jester
- Executioner
- Witch (not Coven)
Neutral (Benign) -
true neutral- Amnesiac
- Survivor
- Guardian Angel (debatable but
Neutral (Power) -
roles which shouldn't roll with the other groups- Vampire (which should be its own faction)
- Pirate (could be put under Evil)
- Plaguebearer
And then rework the alignments from there.
TL;DR, NK is loved now because people have a reason to speak up.
The reason they're speaking up is because now you can't find the Arsonist or Werewolf in "Normal" modes anymore.
Nor can you find them in Dracs Palace.
Nor can you find them in Town Traitor.
You could find them in Rainbow but nobody plays it.
All Any is your only option (and it's fun but too chaotic to be ranked)
