Quick update on current development progress and what to expect for the future.
We are planning a very large balance patch and new ranked season soon, but before we really dig into that we are fixing some long standing bugs that have been waiting for us to be on 1 client code base. Also we are working on optimizing the Unity port to improve WebGL performance and general client crash and stability fixes.
What changes went live yesterday:
-Large internal logic rework on server Trapper logic.
Trapper is a very unique role (the only role with complicated permanent abilities that persist beyond death). Trying to make Trapper role logic work within the framework of other roles caused a variety of bugs. The internal role logic was redesigned to solve all of these issues.
-Amnesiac remembering a Coven role would not get the necronomicon
Pretty self explanatory and is now fixed on live.
There were some other bug fixes related around night time feedback to Coven members. There will be more detail of all of the fixes in the future patch notes.
What I'm currently working on:
Retributionist/Necromancer: There are some fundamental issues with how Necromancer works that will also effect Retributionist when there is a rework to make it similar to Necro. This has to do with role priority ordering and since the Necro can control many different roles it needs to inherit the role priority of what it is controlling.
