"Witch Wins" with a member of the Mafia still alive.

Normal game, in web client. It came down to the last living Mafia member (Mafioso), a Witch, and a Veteran.

Our Mafioso elected to stay at home on the last night, (likely afraid to be killed by Veteran), but the Witch made the Mafioso attack the Veteran anyway. The Veteran was out of alerts, so the Mafioso did live. Both the Mafioso and the Witch survived the game, but the win was only afforded to the Witch.

Could it be that the Mafioso left the game before the Veterans death was announced?

If that were the case the Mafioso's name on my team card would have the barracks around it, right? I didn't notice him leave.

Not in the Mafia box, but the player box on the bottom right, as well as the chat saying "Such Theme has left the game."

I didn't take a look at the chat log to see if he had left, however I never noticed him do so, so I cannot affirm or rule out that scenario.

This would be the only way this scenario could have occurred.
