Couldn't see my role, couldn't see any buttons, weird looking role list, etc.
Couldn't play the game and was lynched immediately.

This looks like a cache issue.
This issue can happen when your cahce is corrupted and/or the game is not loaded properly. Please clear your browsers cache and try again.
Since there is already a replacement client in the works (and already out for beta), there won't be any fixes done to the current flash client.
