[Forum issue] Not staying logged in?

I don’t know why, but sometimes, despite having clicked the “Stay logged in” button, multiple times, after leaving the tab, I come back to find myself having to log back in. I changed my password, worried I might have been hacked, but the issue persisted. Help!

(If it helps, I do log in to these forums on my desktop (rarely), my laptop, and mobile. Issues persist on all devices.)

I heard claims that this is because an other device tried to login to the account. Or it could be because the login cookie got deleted or ran out.
Disclaimer: I try to abide by the game's softfilter and use the appropriate replacements, when I am using the forums. Those will be set in brackets. Example: [tarnation]

Are you using https?

Another cause could be if you are using mobile. The mobile page has always been fickle about logins.

yeah i've had that happen on mobile some time ago. never happened again after that tho
