Controlling into transported veteran bug

I just had a weird game as witch.

I controlled the veteran n1, sent vigi into them n2, killing the vigi, and then I sent the spy into the vet, killing the spy. The strange part is that when I controlled the spy, it said his target was transported (which was true, since the trans also died to vet that night). Now, I know I forced the spy to visit the vet. But if the vet was being transported, shouldn't the spy have visited whoever was being transported with the vet? There was no leaver that night, so the visit couldn't have failed (and even if it had, I think the vet wouldn't have received the transported notification).
The spy left as soon as he was killed (right at the beggining of the day), so the game said "he was killed by a veteran and also commited suicide". How is it possible that he died? There was no hypnotist (RM were 2 forgers) and the trans didn't have an updated will.

Also, if what the game said was true, then that means I controlled 2 townies into the alerting vet, killing them. I should have gotten the "double edged sword" achievement, but I didn't.

Your screenshots corroborate your suspicions, so this must be a bug. Good catch.
Just some Sheriff who didn't claim until Day 5, and has no leads whatsoever

No need to be alarmed...

witch/coven leader has always been buggy af, since theyre both priority 1 visits.... so you controlled spy to the alerting vet, THEN the transport took place. I had a bunch of screenshots (and probly some other threads in this section) of some very buggy stuff with Coven Leader (pre necronomicon) and trans interactions... including being controlled to Medusa, along with the person I transported..... Transporting myself with medusa, while CL sent a crus to Medusa - so the crusader should have protected me - i died to crus and medusa, i think crusader also got gazed.

Other option is that the trans got shot before he could trans - maybe the vet was the first target he chose, so he never made it to the 2nd targets house to complete the transport?

also you get the "Your target's defense was too strong to kill" message even before getting necronomicon
