I lean toward option 2 with a pool of 2 people, because then if mafia receive the ignition factor if one of those two is mafia, there is the risk that they might be the one doused, and mafia might kill themselves, and if town gets the ignition mechanic a pool of 2 people that are on the scummier/less-towny side of things isnt a huge risk to ignite in.

Im also ok with outing exactly who i doused, because thats just the pure and simple safest play

I dont think not outing is a good idea, because if i die then it will never be known, you could end up igniting someone that got confirmed town, and/or could lynch the doused person and making it useless
