Am I counting this right, there's 7 of us left? Fuckin christ. This game will probably end day 2/3.

Not like I expected much after I saw the garbage heap. I hope to christ the actual game will be run someday, it sounded like it was actually cool.

GENERAL INFORMATION
    This is a 42 player closed game.
    Cycles are set to 24/24.
    There will be a lot of death and dying. Game is expected to be relatively short.
    Game is set to begin October 30th, signups allowing.
    Karma will not be in play. This game is explicitly not bastard and is not a CowGame™

GAME MECHANICS
    Players will be divided into two districts: the Upside and the Drains. Each district will consist of 21 players and will have its own Game Thread, lynch, etc.
    After the Third day, the Upside and Drains will merge into one thread.
    Players in the Upside will be called humans, players in the Drains will be called Other. The phrases "Drains" and "Underworld" can be used interchangeably.
    An ITEM SYSTEM will be in play.
    Players will have stats.
    The Human stats include:
      Search - The ability to grab items faster than other players.
      Strength - Carry load.
      Spirituality - The ability to not be possessed.
    The Other stats include:
      Infamy - The ability to possess humans.
      Power - The ability to feast.
      Knowledge - Will effect certain abilities.

UPSIDE SPECIFIC MECHANICS
    ITEM SYSTEM
      Each day, a list of 30 items will be published.
      Players may attempt to grab one item per day, unless otherwise stated.
      Priority for who receives an item will be based on the Search stat.
      Players may have an affinity for a certain kind of item. If you attempt to take an item you have an affinity towards, you will have priority over those without that affinity.
      Player inventories will be public, unless otherwise stated.
      Trading of items is allowed and done publicly in semi-real time (host's schedule allowing).
      Other (players from the Drains) may attempt to Possess items.
      If the Other has higher Infamy than the player grabbing the item has Spirituality, the player will be possessed.
    POSSESSION
      If a player becomes possessed, they will be shunted to the Drains. They will only be able to post in the Drains for the duration of the possession.
      Persons possessed and sent to the Drains are known as Ghosts.
      The Other possessing the player will take their place in the Upside for the duration of the possession.
      If the possessed body is killed in the Upside, the Other will be forced back into the Drains and the ghost will die.
      If the ghost sent to the Drains dies, the Other will be stuck in the possessed player's body for the remainder of the game.
      If after one cycle neither players have died, they will switch places, back to their original bodies.
    HOUSES
      There will be many visiting actions that cause players to look for another player. The effects of the ability will change if a player has left their house or not.
      Visiting actions require you to leave your house, unless otherwise stated.
      Non-visiting actions do not require you to leave your house, unless otherwise stated.
      Remember, lock your doors at night. Its dangerous in the dark.

DRAINS SPECIFIC MECHANICS
    FEAST
      Most players in the Drains have the ability called Feast.
      On alternating days (odd or even) Other may attempt to feast upon another player, killing them.
      If you successfully feast, you will receive one stat bar in the stat that your target was highest in, to a maximum of 5. If that stat is already maxed, you will receive another different stat.
      The odds of the ability working will be based on the difference in Power stat.
      Each day, a list of Other protected from being preyed upon will be published.
    POSSESSION
    This is a repeat of the above, skip it if you read the Upside explanation.
      Each day, Other may choose an item to Curse.
      If a human (Upside player) attempts to grab that item, they will be possessed.
      The Other who cursed the item will be sent to the Upside, and the human will be sent to the Drains.
      The Other possessing the player will take their place in the Upside for the duration of the possession.
      If the possessed body is killed in the Upside, the Other will be forced back into the Drains and the ghost will die.
      If the ghost sent to the Drains dies, the Other will be stuck in the possessed player's body for the remainder of the game.
