I think we only need to discuss Xlranet as a lone wolf in the F3/4 though.

In SFM it may not true sometimes. Let's suppose there are two wolves with two kill power the upcoming night. In this case, we would lose by sleeping (no lynching). Nevertheless, it's the correct play under normal circumstances.

Re: SFM65 | RWBY FM | Day 8 (i cri everytiem)

I probably need to re-evaluate a little even after this.

Eqsy should be a villager since that's the only explanation the third party received that hidden passive; if Eqsy is a villager. Sparking could have theoretically used a roleblock for cover night one, but I find wolves rarely do this proactively (as in it was pre-meditated). It's seemingly impossible a dead player drew a roleblock too unless the roleblocker is a third party. If I'm wrong on either then the game is kind of screwed, to be honest.

Xlranet by himself I think has the most convincing scum arguments, since I've thought he made opportunistic pushes earlier on and Xlranet as a wolf explains the absence of a roleblock claim the night with no kills. I don't really know if Xlranet has any living buddies though. The most fitting would be Flake/Xlranet but they're bussing hardcore. Jackson/Xlranet missed a very vital opportunity to confirm Xlranet's visit with Jackson's fakeclaim and don't think that exists.

I think it's either Flake/Xlranet and they're pulling off a pretty selling bus or it's Flake/Jackson which is pretty straightforward, the scumteam is concise, they have a clear win condition path that they're pushing today, but I don't really scum read either on an individual basis so that's kind of problematic. If I were to lean one team mentioned in this paragraph, it'd actually be the latter, just because I think Flake/Xlranet is much less realistic associative wise even considering Xlranet has the most scum equity. It was very convenient for a Flake/Xlranet team that Ed fakeclaimed vengeful, had this not happened both would have bussed themselves into very unideal situations.

It could be possible Xlranet is a lone wolf as well, but if he is then we have one more safe mislynch.

I've got two possible scumteams without FML (as you asked) and Sparking (because I believe them to be town), these are by no means what I believe to be the case but they're the only possibilities that I can think of outside of FML/{Flake or Xlranet}.

Flake/Eqsy - Eqsy namedropped Flake by accident in the PC at one point by accident when talking about phone, Eqsy also uses Flakes vill/wolf terminology which might mean they're communicating.
Xlranet/Flake - Could be acting as an SvS to bus each other and then mislynch.

I use villager/wolf terminology too. I think Eqsy just picked it up from the thread most likely.

Re: SFM65 | RWBY FM | Day 8 (i cri everytiem)

If we suspect mafia will fuck us during the night phase and we lose then that's a good reason to lynch today. The mafia is at least a consort and a potential unknown role if a second wolf exists, which is most likely a mafia head (think: blackmailer, caporegime, godfather) since we've yet to see such a role. I guess there's some risk on a second wolf role but don't think it warrants anything.

JacksonVirgo wrote:@FML why aren't you defending yourself by the way?

I don't actually see a scum case or anything. To my knowledge people just think I'm scum out of POE (no better alternatives). I can't really defend that by town casing myself.

I can only defend myself by finding where the wolves actually are which is what I'm trying to do atm.

Ah didn't know that, but if they're just going to kill Sparking that gives no real info just time. Unless someone has a hidden LO passive like EvilD.

Information is very subjective in this case. If you review something and discover something new this is new information. It can matter more than you think.

Xlranet wrote:lol im thinking about if the ed passive is true or not

even if it is true then its good to think that a town shouldnt really get that passive just because it incites gamethrow and i doubt the host would do that
whilst with the vig, the dayvig and the sk that spawned it would make sense if a mafia got it as they could die to all 3 of those

but it would also make sense if it didnt exist but ofc id hope so. if it does then i trust sparking and phone to do justice. at least phone lives another night if im lynched (unless consort rbs me)

I thought there was hammer so I didn't post but apparently there isn't.

A vengeful doesn't incite gamethrowing anymore than a vigilante does. It's quite standard in fact. The difference is the shot activates upon death and is (usually) immunity piercing. The difference doesn't promote gamethrowing in my opinion.

I suppose it's plausible Ed fakeclaimed as a villager; this is his reputation. I think withholding the passive makes sense though since claiming would further decentivise a night kill. And regardless Ed seems like an exclusively beneficial lynch.

I think I've said this before but whatever. If everyone is done with today I'll hammer.

What's that supposed to mean. You have a bullet or when you die you kill them.

It's a jester haunt mechanic.

Yeah I doubt he does.

I'm annoyed he didn't share the vengeful passive sooner but he never saves himself and as a villager his vengeful kill can be used to our advantage.

A couple differences from a jester haunt: it activates upon death (not just a lynch) and most vengeful variants can kill anyone once they die (not just their wagon).

Well except most variants don't obligate the haunt target to have voted the vengeful player. Anyone can be killed by a vengeful role iirc.

MichaelgRook: I think he feigns progression in his voting movement; it comes across as artificial. It's not a believable thought process, he just suddenly convinces himself. I think Dota is sheep worthy too.

Checked the ISO of FML and i found this. If we look at a pattern here it seems like early on FML tried to avoid reading and avoided talking to the already lynched scum. He said Only Shot didnt real Overk1ll didnt read its awfully odd yet again he thinks the scum are really townie this early with no main leads. It was awfully odd how he immediatly changed that later. Just pointing this out.

It's not really that convenient. We lynches those players because they were in POE and weren't posting. Hence neither were posting when I was active in the game trying to read current discussions so those reads never developed. I also never villager read flipped those players.

Okay here is my thought, the consort may have taken the factional kill on FML last night and Xlranet has some other visiting ability like a consig or similar and visited phone. In addition, as a consort wouldn't they have roleblocked the other TP claim when the LO claimed to be on phone?

I dont necessarily believe that this means anything but I am putting that out there.
