Game Moderator Message:
But on the more serious, you can say/lie that you got a night result, or say that like "no my message wasn't that one" or "yes my result was the same". Where the line would be drawn is saying something like "I checked with [insert mod here] and they said it was a mistake that I got a different message" or "[insert mod here] said that my message was correct" because that implicates a moderator in the validity of whatever you're saying which is disingenuous and is a really disgusting appeal to emotion.
Also for what it's worth, a simple "yes or no" can in fact be a violation of rules. If I was to ask a player if a moderator clarified something for them, etc. The issue there is twofold though. I should not have asked that question in the first place since it involves out of game information, and the second player cannot respond lawfully without dodging the question. Or if I was trying to guess the exact wording on another player's rolecard and asked them if this was the exact text of their rolecard with a yes or no. Context is key.
