Re: Episode X | Day 2 | Time to Xpose Scum

I'm sure on mafia x town, not sure about town x town so that might be wrong but I doubt it. Also in that case disguiser visits show up.

ElusiveBelle wrote:A is plausible, but for Leyva's claim to be true they would have to 100% be the Blackmailer.
B I would like to hear this as I am unsure how it would work
C not possible, it just doesn't make sense for mafia not to send out the blackmailer according to Leyva's claim here

It works like this:

Let's say Player A is an Investigator and checks player B.
This could play out in two ways from THIS:

1. Disguiser swaps with mafia member(C) and mafia is shown visiting B.
2.Disguiser swaps with town(D) and the town visits are shown.

OR, Disguiser could swap two mafia members, completely erasing both visits(or one visit)

@DOWNIE: I REREAD MY NIGHT RESULT AND WENT "OH H SIT LEYVA WAS VISITED TWICE AND RETRAL WAS VISITED BYT HE MAFIA, THIS MEANS THAT LEYVA MIGHT HAVE BEEN NIGHT IMMUNE SCUM AND RETRAL MIGHT NOT BE SCUM???"

ALSO NOW I'M WONDERING WHY SWORDS IMMEDIATELY SAID "YEAH I THINK RETRAL IS CONSIG OR MAFIA SUPPORT" THAT SEEMS LIKE A REAL LEAP IN LGOCIC

Where did the fourth visit go here? There are four mafia, and three visits. The possibilities are

A)Mafia was roleblocked
B)Disguiser hid the results(I can explain how this works)
C)Mafia for some reason decided not to visit for some reason.

I'm not so sold on the consig theory though, blackmailer or something else would make more sense and if Leyva was contacted then we know they have a blackmailer anyways

Well, BM'er would make more sense as it is a 50/50 shot, while consign is spilt between several roles. But I would be VERY wary of trusting leyva right now. When things start falling into place and we can "confirm" it as true then I say we take his words with more seriousness.

Nellyfox wrote:It is not Alzar's fault he saw Leyva get targeted. But this is pointless arguing.

He has no reason to help the mafia either. But the thing is Retral being checked by a consig makes sense. Could a blackmailer have targeted him? Yeah, that makes sense too. Both of those make sense. But as for now, I don't have much to argue against Leyva's words. But it's wishful thinking because if Retral got checked by a consig then him revealing benefits us.

ElusiveBelle wrote:You already quoted the comment in question Chubby >.>

I mentioned in the one you quoted that Santa's plan should be flipped. Santa wanted to make a night plan for the town protect dependent on it was but wanted Doctor to protect the Invest and Bg on the Spy which didn't make sense. Arson would have no reason to go after the spy, only the mafia would. So it would make more sense to flip it since BG can stop the arson and Doctor can't. Marshal would Wifom on what they felt like doing. At the time in question it is what would make the most sense. In light of new information though, IE the known and to be lynched Arson, this all changes.

Also WAT, are you expecting me to claim or something?

Side note: I'm with Chubby as far as Leyva is concerned, there is no reason to trust the word of scum. We can keep what they say in mind but not take it as fact, just a possibility. I honestly doubt they were contacted at all.

NO I JUST FELT LIKE I HAD TO PROVE YOU WRONG LIKE IN BtM

Stop saying this is about the spy. It's the mafia's fault Leyva was caught.

Spy revealed the results, and town never would have found out otherwise. Hence why I say take Leyva with a grain of salt.

Why trust confirmed scum? All they want to do is see the town burn. And, since leyva's pretty salty about the Spy, I would take everything she says with a grain of salt.

Re: Episode X | Day 2 | Time to Xpose Scum

ElusiveBelle wrote:Had you quoted all my comments in regards to the night plans you would get the whole picture as the initial comment was in regards to the Escort and Investigator.
Thank you, I did not pick up on that.
Night plans as far as Escort and Investigator go, should under no circumstances be made. Scum can act accordingly and give us bad information because of it or plan around the roleblocking as far as the escort is concerned. It will be up to the best judgment of the Escort and Invest, as well as any other town roles we have, to plan what to do for the night.
^
Then the town protects, I had made my point about the night plans, and the lack thereof, before Santa spoke up. However after Santa's comment I corrected why it would be bad to go that route and offered an alternative. With the Arsonist known and to be lynched though the whole point is moot regardless so protects can resort back to the original point of best judgment.
Quote it? I just checked and didn't see.
Although the only strong town read people right now are the claimants regardless, nobody else is really being pinged as strong town at this rate regardless so that point about the safe kill is also moot.
You're read as strong town(moderate/strong) and haven't claimed. I felt like saying this for no reason.

considering that regnal could have been visited by a blackmailer(possible revealing what tp is) I can see how she could be a mafia member trying to manipulate Town Protective, but I doubt that is the case.

Ok. Thanks for the opinion. I still want to hear more as I believe it could be a scum slip but not sure.

Share them in case you die.

Vucub is the one I would rather lynch of the two. They said continuously that Alzar was probably fake-claiming mafia spy, but then flipped to probably-town real spy(if I remember correctly). It seems like a drastic and sudden flip of opinion. And not to mention the "birds eye view" posts they make. It doesn't really townread anyone, it's just nitpicking statements, saying they give off really weird vibes and marking it as a scummy post, and adding scum points. I mean, I (highly) doubt you are legitimately keeping track of those points. Even so, they just tell us who is SCUMMIER, not who is town or scum. The second one I could see as town, but before I replaced in they had a post combination I found hypocritical and could possibly just be a misslip or a scum slip. Either way, I want opinions on it, as this read is nowhere near as strong as my other reads

ElusiveBelle wrote:We'll have to wait and see if anything else comes up, we have more to work with now in knowing a few alleged roles and with the claims.
Cant say it would be too wise to plan a full night plan though so it's just best to leave it up to best judgment.

/Vote Leyva45

Not that I want to end the day yet, but just in case forget to vote later when it comes down to time for it.

So here Elusive says there should be NO nightplan and leave it up to judgement. However here they say:

ElusiveBelle wrote:That would be Santa making a night plan to try and protect both TI claims, IE yourself and Retral. However I would switch the claims Santa made

Any BG there is, protect Retral
Any Docs protect Alzar

Only because Arsonist has no reason to go after a Spy, Spy is useless to catch an Arsonist unless mafia attacks them
Bg would be better protection for the Investigator and leave any docs we have to protect the Spy.
Marshal can go for either and leave is as WIFOM for both to take a chance at failing, neither of which can afford to at this rate.

While it is quite a vague and ambiguous night plan, they still said they shouldn't be made. Additionally, this, from a mafia PoV, could potentially lure the protective away from a strong townread/ PR and allow the mafia a "safe kill." I'd like opinions on this, if nobody minds.
