In future games, if you want to go all YOLO and shoot someone, shoot a scumread. Sometimes gut reads can be surprisingly accurate.

Yeah I know, and as a matter of fact I was the one who said it in the day chat. You guys ended up not doing it though. You didn't submit a night action for him. But look at what Var said. On the actual game though, it was pretty sloppy. I think all of the mafia scumslipped at least one time each and the Town didn't express their thoughts enough and didn't follow through on some of their scum reads. The mafia made good night kill choices though, but the day play wasn't that good.

Also, I'm not sure how people didn't notice this, by Jakob basically claimed to be mafia but not Janitor. He said that Var was correct on him being mafia, but he was wrong on what mafia role he was.

I actually didn't think that the Jammy/Fredster thing was a scumslip though. I didn't think that Fred would only post in the mafia chat and wouldn't post in the main chat.

Then he revealed as investigator and I thought he was lying because he revealed the dead town roles and was witched once.
That made me switch my reads on Macca and Arckus.

You could post less frequently than PersianRugs in 9F for all I care, but at least mark your stances down. The only reason you were the best at hiding from me there was because you posted so little I couldn't get a very good grasp. But my main piece of advice: Don't worry about being in the mafia. As I also think I said at some point in the game, the reason I'm somewhat difficult to find as scum is because I don't put on an act. Even as mafia, I would suggest you do scum hunting. Just try to avoid letting there be bias in your results based on the info you have. If you can play the game as a townie while being mafia, you should be able to slip through just fine.

jakob: Spoiler: Okay, you were more a victim of bad luck than anything else this game. Jammy screwed you over hard, and I have some pretty impolite things to say to him later. The thing that sticks out to me most in your ISO though is your lack of communication with any of the other mafia members in the game thread. You need to be certain you're treating the members of the mafia as you do everyone else. Otherwise, it does leave that link behind when one of you dies. From what I can tell, your play as town will be fine, but you just have to be more natural around your buddies. I'd say you did a fine job this game, but you got a bit saltier than need be after I started hunting you.
Macca: Spoiler: You were fine. I guess just be more natural. As a witch, you don't really have much you can do to hide teammates, so just play like you're a townie.
Julia: Spoiler: Be more active, and learn the rules more fully before you join.
Varanus: Spoiler: Absolutely stunning play. You inherited a pretty scummy looking slot, and immediately proceeded to pin down two mafia, while correctly finding the last mafia and the witch. Spectacular reads, with underwhelming backup from the other townies that are supposed to sheep everything you say. You truly deserved this win more than any of the others. Just remember that you aren't supposed to carry town in NFM, as the newbies don't learn anything from you curbstomping scum.

npronim: Spoiler: Sorry about throwing you into this so late into the game. Your problem here was voting for someone that wasn't confirmed scum at the end, and being far too confident in your own reads. I made the same mistakes way back when I started. You'll figure this out after a while.
Suddenly: Spoiler: You weren't imposing yourself in the game well enough. As a citizen, your goal is to get killed by the mafia, or to hunt down scum during the day. You primarily were asking other people to scum hunt for you, and you never truly made any thoughts for yourself. You're the exact material mafia tries to convince into helping lynch town. Far too easy to sway with AtE. You need to stop following the Bible of Scummy Behavior (tm). Not everyone that lurks is scum. Not everyone with straight OMGUS is scum. Quite frankly, basing your reads off of these things is just a cop-out so you can avoid taking responsibility for when you inevitably end up being wrong.
