Inb4 Dragon and I are on a scumteam and steamroll town because they keep protecting the wrong people.

Lesson learned: Kill Dragonfire first.

I meant what I said D1 about wanting to lynch the boring players, though. That's why I killed Vanish. :/

You could have two possible reason to claim witched:
1.-You are are a visiting PR, and made an excuse if a Lookout find you. (I doubt that after your healed claim and Michaels D2 rb claim)
2.-You are the GF and signalled the witch who controlled one of the mafia.

A citizen would not claim witched after we went through that discussion D1.

My reason falls into neither of those points tho so....I don't know what to tell ya.

You're so desperate for a savior that you're blind to what's really going on. It's like when a town lynches Alice the citizen claim over Bob the doctor claim, even though Bob is obviously the more scummy of the two. It's sad to see, and it often doesn't end well for town.

Consider this: If you lynch Dragonfire and he flips consig, I'm practically confirmed sheriff. If you lynch me and I flip SK, you still don't really know Dragonfire's role.

That's not going to happen, because I'm locking myself in the claim and it's a 1v1 now. If you flip anything other than Serial Killer (which you won't), town is free to lynch me and I will not change my claim.

Not necessarily. If you look at NFM30 day 2, James2 tried this same thing on me when I was town and he was SK. He was pushing for a mislynch on me and if he got it, he would have said the night result he claimed was fake and he was just following a scum read.

This seems pretty similar.

Here's the deal. I am Sheriff. n1: melanora is not suspicious. n2: chitown is not suspicious. Sorry I don't have any game-breaking results for you. I can't deliver you from evil now. All I can do is help with process of elimination.

I checked Taz n1 because I thought her d1 behavior was scummy, but I've never seen her scum play so I wanted to be sure. You'll notice that I stopped pushing the slot d2, despite melanora's intense tunneling of me. I checked chitown n2 because they went from aggressive to mellow quickly upon joining. I didn't want the witch to find me because sheriff is more useful than investigator and possibly lookout in this setup.

The game's stacked in favor of town right now. My money is on Dragonfire being consig. Now that the vig is dead and obi confirmed there's no other TK, it's safe to make high-risk, high-reward plays. If he gets me lynched today, tomorrow he can say he's investigator and that when he checked me on a hunch and saw the Veteran/Sheriff/Agent/Serial Killer, he decided to follow his hunch and keep pushing me.

I had to come up with something new, and since I had already thought about and vetted the two other claims for contradictions, I figured it would be easier to just use them. There you have it. Another mistake I made, laid bare for you. It's not indicative of alignment, so you don't need to punish me for it further.

I mean, going to the trouble of making that and then being told I'm not allowed to share it is one of the reasons I'm ambivalent about being lynched right now. But I don't think there's any rule against posting images (unless they have hidden text or they violate the general forum rules).

I'm not liking these votes on me and I don't know what to do other than point out that some of them have flawed reasoning, as if they just want someone outside their scum faction lynched instead of wanting scum lynched. Given all the mistakes I'm making, I might think it would be better for town if I just let myself be lynched, but I don't think town wants to lose my role.

Let's look at chitown's vote on me, for instance.

Here they accuse me three times on three separate instances of pushing for a mislynch.

Regarding my push on Taz: holy crap, my vote was on page 1 or 2. I voted her her because I've played a few games with her and she seemed more nervous than compared to when she plays town. Even though it was a day 1 pressure vote, I was trying to find scum, not pushing for a mislynch.

Regarding my vote on michael: How infuriating would it be if mafia won by being inactive and letting town distract themselves to death? I wanted to call attention to all the inactives we have. I thought and still do think that we'll find scum among the actives.

Regarding my reaction test: I already explained it. I was trying to see if lijik would contradict her slot's claim, not trying to get a mislynch going.

It looks like of like chitown is pushing for a mislynch.
