Achilles wrote:There was also an incident purely on Discord in which a user “Roxy” aka “accountingsteve” orchestrated a raid against our community with known moonmen/botters towards a server that was geared towards Town of Salem’s Wiki. A post was was made on Reddit (linked below) where TurdPile said a couple times that the evidence would be made available. We are also including such evidence here, although the user is not technically a botter (that we know of), they were still banned for malicious intent to harm our community.

If you have the IPs, you can 100% go for those who engaged or helped participate in credit card fraud or personal mail/email attacks as a legal issue. Would be more fun seeing these folks arrested in real life for the shit they have caused you for the past few months. Don’t even think they realize how bad credit card fraud truly is and how that ruins your entire life if you are arrested for it.
I’m sure the entire player base is thankful for the stoppage of these people and the shit they have caused to you and the player base.
Thank you, BMG. Surprised you don’t get as much attention to your game as you truly deserve.

Would you guys @BMG actually consider doing this though?
I dont think they should go away scot-free with something as a simple ban. You guys aren't some big corporation, you're a small indie company and they wasted so much of your time, money and resources and attempted to ruin your business. I seriously think some of the older ones and more prominent botters deserve some legal ramifications. What they did to you guys personally and financially is NOT acceptable at all.

Pyro said earlier in the thread that they are looking into their options. It may not even be fiscally sound to do that; legal things are expensive sometimes.

Have fun when your game dies if this is how you're going to act.

Also are these people responsible for the attack that changed the board themes about 24 hours ago? If so I don't care about legal costs send them to j a i l.

Maybe, maybe not. I personally don't think so. But who knows, really.

Also weren't the people behind the credit card fraud already found? Why bring this up and link it to some botters?

Whatever bitter former botter this is give it up, stop acting like you're someone else. Nice to see you magically come out of woodwork after a year of absence just to give a snarky reply to the devs and subtly defend your botting friends. Cute alt acc!
