What makes someone a pro player? I have 25 wins on most roles, and am often very smart at figuring out who is what role by night 3 or 4.

I've also never heard of those people that have been listed so far :p

Yeah I think there's no way to really know who are the best/pro players. I mean, there are probably a good number of people who don't even post on the forums, so we wouldn't necessarily know about them. And you could see people posting on the forums a lot but never actually have seen them play in the game...

I think maybe once the ELO and leaderboards are out this could be a fun idea, because then there would be a more objective way to measure who the "pros" are, like you could just pick the top 10 people off the leaderboards.

Well the reason you've never heard of those people is probably the same reason you only have 3 forum posts....They're all people who post a lot in the forums, so if you don't look at the forums and since most people use different names in-game, you wouldn't have heard of them :p

Gobln, could you link me to some of these reddit posts from pro players? I'm not on there.
I started browsing, but then I saw a "role call is cheating" post and backpedalled swiftly.

Also, if you are posting here nominating yourself to be interviewed as one of the pros, could you send me a video of your play or something? The thing is, there is just no way for me to have any idea if you have no posts on the forum but you're really good. XD

This is true, I suppose, though I didn't think the term "pro" would generate such controversy when I made the thread.

Seeing as there is such controversy, I'm essentially disregarding the concept that I'm only interviewing the "pro" players and simply taking players that have been influential to the community. Would this be fairer?

You're no fun, where's your sense of jestering, like getting the town to lynch others just because you can manipulate them into it? Where's the transporter moving the arson, sk, mafioso, and themselves around stalling the end of the game? Where's the vet in you that baits people only for him to kill several of his teammates? This game has so much to offer for so many of its players, you just have to figure out your opponent and play them like a musical instrument, a harmonic, chaotic, and very deadly musical instrument.
Then you can hear the deadly music that plays from every ToS game.
