in game the name is jailor, but isn't it susposed to be jailer, correct me if I am wrong, what I probably am. :P :P

No, one who jails is called a Jailor.

Both are fine, Jailer and Jailor are accepted spellings.

This has been brought up before.
Think jailor is the American spelling (?? I think) which is why it's used.

For some reason I prefer Jailor, but auto-correct puts it as jailer. Which either one works fine.

this seems to be one of the variants where the english speakers never could make up their mind.

similar i once spend once a day trying to figure out if archmage is pronounced "artshmage" or "arkmage". only to come up that in some games even both ways were used depending on the voice actor...

its undefined. both are correct and wrong.

Basically either one works just as well as the other one. According to a dictionary that I found, they both mean the same thing, they're just different spellings of the same word, like color and colour. It's just one of those American English vs British English things.

Its not, neither of them is typical american or british like color/colour. Both variants of Jailor/Jailer appeared already in the 14th century, where there american natives surely didnt speak english.

Still confused about color and colour but i don't really care

Jailer really annoys me. Jailor looks better! It's the same with color and colour for me. I prefer colour, of course.

Jailor sounds and looks cooler! :D

i do believe both spellings are accepted. i find funny when some players use it on other roles that end with 'er' such as "I'm Blackmailor!" and "You're a Jestor!" i even saw someone say "I'm a Docter!" but i'm pretty sure these ones are wrong..still funny tho ^^"
