I was a WW (For the first time) claiming surv.

I made it to the final for against two towns and one maf. They realized I couldn't be surv, as he had just died, so they put me on trial.

I was trying any desperate plea I could to stay in the game ("I really am survivor!" "I've never won as WW!" "You need me to take out maf!", etc.), but no one fell for it.

However once the result of the vote came... EVERYONE FORGOT TO VOTE GUILTY!

I was saved from the lynch, there wasn't enough time to vote again, and the next night I was able to kill a town and maf, leaving the last town member unable to do anything but talk about how much he regrets abstaining.

There was a game where I was playing as Arso. This was before the role was improved upon, so I had basically accepted I was going to lose.

Fast Forward to when there were seven people left. Me, the godfather (Let's call him Smith), and five town members (Or four town and one survivor, don't remember). The town had concluded me and Smith were the last two evil roles but didn't know which was which, so they decided to lynch whoever they thought was Arso and lynch the other one next time.

Luckily for me, they lynched Smith first, and once they saw he was GF, they were devastated.

That night I had for people doused so I just ignited. The next day, myself and the investigator were the only town roles, and I accomplished the nearly impossible by winning as Arsonist.

The story of my second win ever as Arso:
Silver Ranked
D2: Other player claims lookout, says they saw mafia visit target. "mafioso" claims ret on the stand. I abstain from the votes and claim that too mhc is going on (I keep doing this to not seem too sus and not accidentally get blamed for lynching a townie). Surprise: the "mafioso" is lynched and turns out to be the ret.
D3: Executioner is lynched
D4: Jailor executed BG last night. Then someone who claimed LO was lynched. All my three doused targets are still alive. As we fade to night someone says "we will have majority tomorrow". I realise that they must be maf. Not a single maf has died. I will die if they get majority
N4: Maf attack me. I kill my three douses. One is an LO. One is a mafioso. One is a Consort.
D5: Town loudly thanks the arso. There are five people left: Jailor (he claimed D2, but I was too scared of TP to go for him), Mafioso, GF, Vet and me. Jailor calls for claims. I whisper-claim doc. Vet claims vet. GF, who has not been too active so far, claims vig and says he shot me. Maf stays silent. GF is lynched.
N5: I douse jailor. No deaths.
D6: Jailor calls on Vet to finish it by lynching the evils one by one. I whisper the mafioso: "If either of us votes on the other, we both lose. We can kill the jailor today. I have him doused and you can kill him if he jails me.". The town votes on maf first. I vote on the vet. The town votes on me next. The maf votes on the vet. We go to night.
N6: I briefly consider trying do douse a second target, but I decide to follow through and kill the jailor.
D7: Vet decides that arso deserves the win and we lynch the mafioso
N7: I freak out because I realise the vet could still get me.
N8: I need to end the game soon either way, so I douse the vet
D8: Vet tells me he was all out of alerts anyway

No. The kill was one step to eliminate Town as majority. Chances are your night targets would've been different.

Coven mode, Ranked rolelist, rolled Jailor. This town's on lockdown...Hey, that rhymed.

Spoiler: N1, jailed Tatsumi. He promptly claimed Jester. I told him I would see him again Night 2. At the end of the night, I get controlled by the Coven Leader.
D2,no deaths. Azelf claims poisoned. I claim controlled and admit to being Jailor. I take the opportunity to force role claims, and I get a Tracker claim from Bobby B, a Sheriff claim from Jew Jitzu, a Trapper claim from Maurice Moss, and a Ret claim from tumb down. I tell Town that Tatsumi claimed Jester in jail, trying to get the Vig to shoot him and confirm TK. No lynch.

N2, jail Kekexe, who didn't claim that day. I ask him his role, and he tells me to just kill him, since he has to go. I hit Execute, and he leaves the game.
D3, Azelf the Lookout is dead to Poisoner, Bobby B the Tracker is dead to Werewolf, and Kekexe the Poisoner is dead to Jailor. Trapper whispers me to tell me that his trap on me was triggered by Spy and BG. I get a whisper from tumb down saying that he can revive Tracker to find out who WW is. Face whispers me to tell me that I was visited by Nazh, who he believes might be TP. I ask Face his role, since he appears to be claiming Lookout, whom Trapper didn't see visiting me. He claims to be the second Tracker, who followed Nazh, and asks me who to track next. Since this is the fifth TI claim (two Trackers, Sheriff, dead LO, and Spy that the Trapper saw), I tell him to track Jew Jitzu. Deodat Lawson is voted up, gives no defense, and hangs. He flips Spy. Town berates him for not claiming as day ends.

N3, jail Mary Eastey, who claims Vet. Well, that explains why Vig didn't kill Jester. I don't execute.
D4, Tatsumi the Jester is dead to Coven Leader, and Bobby B has been revived. Face claims to be poisoned, meaning that there is a Necromancer in play. After I sincerely thank Coven Leader for that misplay, Face whispers me to say that Jew Jitzu didn't visit anyone. The next second, Jew Jitzu whispers me to say that he checked Maurice, who came up suspicious. Seeing as there's a WW around, I've now lost all confidence in the Sheriff claim, and tell the Town to vote up Jew Jitzu. He goes up, admits defeat, and claims that he never has a good strategy for WW. He hangs, and flips...wait for it...Werewolf. Now I'm under pressure to jail the Necromancer before he uses this hellhound against me.

N4, jail A Jew, who hasn't been talking this whole time. He claims Doc...except Poisoner's been getting kills. I execute as he curses me out in chat.
D5, Bobby B the Tracker is dead (again) to WW (again), as is Mary Eastey the Veteran. Nazh the BG is dead to Coven Leader, and A Jew the Medusa is dead to Jailor. Well, we have six people left, two of them are Coven, and two of them haven't claimed. I immediately push to vote up Ninja, as i cant joke tries in vain to ask Maurice for his role. The surviving Townies know that I know what I'm talking about, and Ninja goes up on the stand. He claims Doc, and...well, you all know by now how Doc claims are going in this town. He hangs and flips Necromancer, as i cant joke leaves the game. Town wins.

Tl;dr Town Power isn't an alignment, it's a state of mind.

EDIT: Joined the very next game after this, rolled Jailor again. Goofed by executing Spy (in my defense, 2 TI roles were dead and he said that his role was useless), but pushed up SK and Necromancer, and Trappers working with me killed CL and Medusa. There is no such thing as a single Town Power role.

The problem with the GF was that he cancelled the kill in night 2, leading to the lynch of our mafioso because the escort had roleblocked him in the first 2 nights. And the escort had claimed her role, but there were other claims too.

I had a great game in ranked practice once.

I a spy called animal abuse (following the pokemon theme).

Day 2 a mayor called i beat my wife reveals. Then a random townie starts voting up the mayor. Stating that he needs to die because he beats his wife. The the mayor gets lynched.

Next day that same townie get me lynched because i abuse animals.

After that the townie hypocritically gets some one called pikachu lynched because they almost killed ash.

The next day that townie dies and the game continue as normal.

Never let a jester lead the town.

Today I had my 4th placing match for ranked, and finally rolled a town role: sheriff.
I claimed in day 1 and some guy insulted me.
In night 1, I checked a random player called Mango. NS.
Mafia had killed a sheriff. Giles Corey (the guy who insulted me in day 2) claimed lookout and said Cool had visited the sheriff. I asked for his role, and he whispered to me claiming veteran. Someone else claimed investigator and accused Ghost of being gf/bg/arso. I felt tempted to whisper Cool, asking him not to alert, but I thought evils could suspect it and frame him. No one was lynched.
In night 2 I interrogated another guy. NS.
Mafia had killed a vigilante and an arsonist had incinerated Giles Corey the jester. The invest claim kept accusing Ghost, so we voted him up. He claimed med. Since NE wasn't possible and this was contradictory, we decided to lynch him (I didn't think that he could have been doused, even if that was actually impossible). Ghost was lynched and flipped arso. Now we had a confirmed investigator. Also, some guy claimed blackmailed.
In night 3 I decided to take the risk and interrogate Cool. NS.
Mafia had killed the jailor, who had executed the confirmed invest... who was actually a consigliere (although I think he was trying to gamethrow). In his will it was revealed that Cool had claimed vet, and Mango counterclaimed him. I told town to lynch Mango because Cool was NS and posted my full will. Then Mango pointed out that he was NS too. My bad . We had to lynch some of them. First we voted Cool because the Giles had accused him (then I remembered Giles was jester). He said he was blackmailed and we voted inno, but Mango said that a blackmailed player can only say he was blackmailed 4 times, and Cool had said it 7 times. We vote Cool again. Even if he was vet, we could lynch Mango the next day. We lynch him and he flips vet.
In night 4 I interrogate someone who had voted guilty during the first trial of Cool. Mafia. I'm also blackmailed.
Mafia had killed the spy, so it was down to 4 townies vs 3 mafia members. Of course, we lynched Mango because he had counterclaimed the real vet. No. Another guy pushed for the lynch of Mango, and we barely got enough votes. Mango kept claiming vet and asked town to inno. AND HE WAS FCKING INNOED. The other 2 mafia members voted inno, the other guy and me guiltied, and the other 2 townies ABSTAINED. I was so mad. Then Mango accused the other guy, who claimed bg (no tp cc). Mango said it was a scummy claim and voted him up. Mafia followed him, and some fcking idiot also voted. He claimed he was inno because the spy's will said so, and I voted inno, while all mafia members voted guilty and the other 2 morons abstained. The other guy was lynched, he was obviously a bodyguard. I was absolutely mad for town's stupidity.
In night 5 I interrogated the other guy who had voted with maf. He was obviously mafia, and I was obviously killed.
By this point it was down to the 3 mafia members vs 2 townies. They lynched the escort (no one had claimed roleblocked, BTW).
During the next night, the last townie, who was a transported, made the mafioso kill himself (wtf had he been doing during the game??)
Then Mango and the other mafia member lynched the trans and won.
I was so mad... I even felt tempted to fake report those townies for gamethrowing. Actually, it SHOULD be considered gamethrowing, since they must know that vet is unique if they want to play ranked. And due to this fcking idiots I lost the third placing match out of the 4 I played. It was totally infuriating because I know I deserved to win. So please, BMG, make being stupid reportable (without bans, just for ranked) and raise the requirements. This was absurd.

This game was one of those games where everyone makes their names similar to each other. In this case, there was a person named "I love pigeons," so naturally I made my name "I hate pigeons." I rolled Witch.

At first I only controlled a spy, but as time bore on I found a doc and kept making him heal me until he was killed. Both I love pigeons and I stayed alive. 6 people were left (WW, 2 maf, 2 town and me) and it became clear that I love pigeons was also evil (Godfather, specifically.) A Townie was lynched and the night was a full moon. I controlled I love pigeons into shooting the last townie, while Pyrooo the werewolf went for John Hathorne, the janitor.

So with 3 people left I had to choose between Pyrooo, the werewolf who had done nothing for me, or the Godfather who had been so nice to me. There was just one problem with him though, a problem that I simply could not ignore.

Goodbye, pigeon lover.

Ugh I hate similar names. Does anyone still have games with 'Castlel' and 'CastIel'? I found that a lot of the time, people didn't know or understand how the numbers work and it's really annoying.

Quite exciting all any witch game.
On day one, I had joked about being jailor and wanting TP on me, but said jk. However, someone else actually claimed jailor for real, and I decided to control him. He actually was jailor. However, when we wake up, he was attacked and cleaned.
I decided to do something risky; I claim that he was actually framer/jester/vampire, so that hopefully the janitor could alert the mafia that I was either witch or jester. Somebody named Zeus asks someone named Annabeth for their role, and I comment on that I would have joined the PJO theme if I'd noticed it. Annabeth whispered her role to Zeus, and he seemed satisfied. He said that Annabeth could have been Mafioso, which kind of simultaneously makes me want to control her and completely avoid her. I whispered to Zeus saying that we should collaborate our results, and gave him a fake invest will. The day ends.
The next night, I control someone random, Samuel Sewall. He is janitor.
No deaths the next day. Nothing really happened, either, except Zeus soft-accusing someone named cotton mather and me whispering Samuel a single lenny face. Assumedly, he caught on. I whispered Zeus that Sam was med/janitor/ret, and he voted Samuel. Oops.
The next night I made someone named Damien Peters target cotton. He was vampire. I could now be sure that cotton was an evil role, as they should be either vampire or immune. The only death that day was a cleaned person.
This time, Zeus straight up accused cotton of being godfather. Annabeth backed up Zeus, and cotton was lynched remarkably quickly and flipped godfather. I thought Zeus might be trouble in the future.
I take a huge risk in controlling Annabeth to Zeus the next night. She is veteran, and thankfully she didn't alert.
The only death the next day is a spy, from arsonist. However...
An Amnesiac has remembered they were a Godfather!

Zeus claimed that Annabeth's results had changed from Vig/Vet/Maf to Bg/Gf/Arso. However, Annabeth countered by saying that that COULDN'T be true, as the amnesiac remembering gf meant that there couldn't have been a Mafioso before, as amnesiac can't remember mafia killing when there already is one, which is 100% correct. So, Zeus said she must have been doused, which meant there was another arsonist. No lynch that day.
I control someone silent named Triton the next night. He's another vampire.
Suisse the Witch is dead to veteran that day, with Annabeth in the middle of her will. Zeus leaves the game, for some reason. That day, Annabeth is literally the only one to talk the entire discussion phase. The only other person to talk is me, when she says to "say something" and I, naturally, respond with "something". Ares (who had been silent the rest of the game) claims that Annabeth is Mafioso, but she calls him an idiot and the day ends.
I control Godfather that day... Arsonist. Uhuhuhuhuhu...
Triton the vampire is dead to mafia, Zeus the executioner suicided. Everyone was shocked... How had he known who the godfather was??? I still don't know. I whispered to godfather the arsonist telling him that I had controlled him. At this point, I had the vampires, mafia, AND arsonist on my side. I was also mildly certain that Annabeth was one of the last 2-3 town left. That day, Ares accused Damien (the vampire) of being godfather. Damien didn't respond, but Annabeth wanted to kill Ares for accusing her. The day ended with Ares being one vote away from a lynch.
I made someone named LightSaber target Annabeth that day, predicting that he was amnesiac turned godfather. I whispered to him (oh yeah by the way Annabeth was out of alerts) and asked who the other mafia(s) were. He replied "appreciated", but wouldn't trust me enough to tell me who his Mafioso was.
I didn't like that...
The next night, Jonathan Corwin was killed by a member of the mafia. His role was Mafioso. Also, Sam the janitor was killed by arsonist. At this point there were 5 people left and I was almost certain none were town. It looked like a fairly easy win.

But I'm an overachiever, so I began to form a plan...

First, I told everyone who the godfather was. He begged and pleaded with me for his life, saying that he trusted me now, but I would not hear it. He was paying the price. I also (through whisper) asked Damien whether Ares was vampire, and asked Godfather who was doused. Ares was not vampire, and Damien and Lightsaber were doused. Perfect. We lynched the godfather, despite his screams, and went to our beds.
I made godfather target himself.
Godfather was very confused the next day. He asked whether there was a second arso, and when no one responded, didn't speak for the rest of the day. Presumably, he was puzzling out what had happened. I whispered to the vampire asking whether Ares was turned yet. He was.
The next night, I made godfather target Ares.
The vampires were shouting at me the next day... "THE GAME WILL DRAW IF WE DON'T LYNCH GODFATHER!!!" etc. Meanwhile, godfather was finally onto me for controlling him the night he was doused. I whispered him and said that it was a bug, and that if he ignited, we'd win. I made that last part VERY clear.
Meanwhile, the vampires were also onto me. I took care of this problem by claiming that I was trying to get the "make an arsonist ignite themself" achievement (which doesn't actually exist), and that they shouldn't be worried at all. I made sure to really drive that part home.
So the day ended with every party firmly believing that they'd already won. I controlled Ares into biting Godfather, just in case the vampires tried anything.


In my time playing Town of Salem, there have been a few games which I will never forget. There was the time I was veteran, the last mafia died, and it was just me and two witches left and I won. There was the time I won as escort in rainbow with jailor and vet dead in the first two nights. There was when I, as survivor, got attacked 3 nights, all while vesting. And of course, my first wins as each NK role will always be special to me.
But that day, when I woke up with three corpses around me, I knew that this would be my defining moment. My new go-to story. This was my best game and I knew it at once.
Of course, it isn't very hard to win as witch when there's only four townies. But simply the way in which I won... And, of course, the rarity of solo witch wins outside of vigilantics. I tricked each individual party into their own demise. I killed two of the three remaining mafia in a night and a day... I tricked the vampires into not biting their last, most dangerous enemy... And, of course, I made the arsonist ignite themself. And I think that that is the most beautiful win I could ever ask for.
It was also my 25th ever witch win. So that's something.

Okay, enough of me drooling over a computer game; I've got a question. A bunch of the people in dead chat said that they had reported me for gamethrowing. What I did ISN'T gamethrowing, is it? And if it isn't, but it's guiltied by the trial system anyway, how do I appeal it? Here's to hoping that it's shot down immediately.

It's not gamethrowing as you accomplished your goal (and in a very cool way), which is to live to see town destroyed. You are not obligated to help any other factions IF your solo win is possible in this case it was. Reporting you for gamethrowing would be like reporting a survivor for not siding with mafia. Congrats, btw.

And here I am with my greatest achievement being getting cleaned by mafia as arsonist.

I was Jester.

I tried to get myself lynched by claiming Sheriff and randomly accusing a person. I actually managed to get them to the stand and hung, since they said i could'nt even have found them. Turns out they were Godfather... But it doesn't end there.
Next day i tried again and randomly accused another person. I got them to the stand (since i was now a trustworthy townie xD). Suddenly i was accused of cheating, since the person i had accused this day was the new GODFATHER. And ofc the mafia thought i was a cheating Sheriff who could somehow find GFs...

So basicly i got 2 godfathers in 2 consecutive days lynched by complete coincidence... as Jester..
Ofc i didn't get hung.. Because i was the super (cheating) townie xD

After i died the 2 GF kept calling me a cheater.
I actually found out today, that i was reported for that, but my judges found me innocent xD
