Welcome to AmneMortus. Lost souls have drank from the river and forgotten everything. But that's not what's happened to everyone. Some lost souls haven't forgotten... everything. Nor have they lost everything. Of course, the solution is to throw them into purgatory until they gain solace.

Not always, anyway. A small group of these lost souls has escaped this solace treatment thru a weird... glitch. They are currently... free in the underworld. But this time, with knowledge and tools, not just wandering forgotten souls like the others…

AmneMortus is a RPG following a group of lost souls. With barely any memory of their past lifes, and little to go off of but their broken and bent tools. Will you try to find out who you were? The game has three main dice, a d2, d6, and d20. Any action may cause these to be rolled. Buffs and debuffs may be gained. Or will you ever have to roll?

Be careful with it, alright? You've only got one.

For some reason, your souls are quite strong. You don't remember why, for obvious reasons.
You can take SIX physical hits before your soul's strength has been depleted.
Once it's depleted...
Well, it's not as bad as you think.

Some things may directly attack your soul.
This is... very bad, for obvious reasons.
You definitely don't want to have this happen too much to you.

Because you don't remember what you were...
You're much more open to change.
Doing things may change your Soul Type...
but what do types do?
Heheheh...

You may also have a secondary type.
Weaker then a main type, but that gives you two at a time.

There may be more to be found out about your soul...

It had no recollection and no bounds to any form or body. It had no memory of colors, nor existing. It did not know wether it was a chicken or the world's greatest phillosipher, it simply... was. And it had never sought answers. It had simply accepted this was what life was. Being. No questions asked nor any questions answered. But it had a sudden desire to be and to belong, a... well, feeling. It tried to look inside itself, to know... anything. To look around itself, to grasp what this world held. (Basically im tryna see stuff)
