~The Game~ • In general, this is Voodoo with a fancy lick of paint. • The objective of the game is to end up with the most points. You can do this alive or dead. • The game immediately ends once there is only one witch alive. Points will be tallied and a winner will announced. • Points can be earned, but never lost. • If you say another player's cursed word, you are cursed and will lose a life. • If you lose all three of your lives, and end up with 0 'come Daybreak, you will die. • You will be given mercy on the first day- no witches may die. During that time, you may only lose two lives; however, points gained will be unaffected. • Communication in PMs is banned, as is warning others about your cursed word. I trust you guys. • Do not post during the Witching Hour.
~Phases~
~The Witching Hour~ Spoiler:This phase will last 24 hours after the day ends or when all curses have been received.
• During this stage, all players must pm me with a single word they would like to curse. • Failure to send in a word that follows the rules will result in a loss of one life. • Your cursed word must not be a name or a player's username. • You may not curse: Tiger/Moderator/Host or anything that is obviously referring to me. • Your cursed word must be 4+ letters. • When a witch dies, the curse they place during the final Witching Hour that they're alive for will be permanent. • Once a word has been cursed, it may never be used to curse again. All words cursed so far will be announced at the start of the phase. • If 3+ witches try to curse the same word, it will be announced and all witches involved will be asked to re-pick a word. The Witching Hour will be extended to accommodate this.
• This is followed by Daybreak.
~Daybreak~ Spoiler:The shortest phase. • During this phase all of the actions from the day before are taken into effect and announced to the town. • These actions include: Who has been cursed Who was saved by yesterday's vote Who has died Results of any events that occurred • This will be a single post made by me. It will be colored THIS to signify the beginning of the day.
This is followed by Discussion.
~Discussion~ Spoiler:This is the longest phase. It will last for 48 hours after Daybreak.
• During this phase, the coven may talk to one another about anything. • Cursed words will now be in effect until The Meeting ends.
This phase is followed by The Meeting.
~The Meeting~ Spoiler:This phase will either be 24 hours long or until all witches reply with a vote.
• You may vote both living and dead players. • There are only two forms of voting. /Abstain or /vote [player] • The player with the most votes will not receive any points from all the witches they cursed, and lives will not be lost. • If majority of players abstain, no witches curse will be stopped. • If there is no clear majority/there is a tie, no witches curse will be stopped. • The vote stops all the curses that had happened that day, not the curses of the next day. • All the witches who voted up the witch who's curse was stopped will be rewarded with points on every witch they saved from the cancelled curse.
This phase is followed up by The Witching Hour.
~Events~ Spoiler:Events are small extra things, usually with a choice or a vote for you to make, or a small task.
• Events can range in rewards: more lives, bonus points, an extra curse for the next day or 1-time vote-immunity. • You may also get punished, depending on your choice in an event: loss of points, your curse removed for the day, or an extra vote added against you.
~Other Rules~ Spoiler:• You are immune to your own curse. Flaunt it if you want to. • Deliberate misspellings of words will still count as cursed. You will also get asked to get a spell checker. • Variations such as color = colour will still count. As will different conjugations and plurals. (For example, saying 'Who knew?' when the cursed word is 'know' will curse you.) There is no mercy and no sympathy. • Context does not matter. If a word with multiple meanings is cursed, e.g bow, no matter the intended meaning, using it will still incur a curse and subsequent loss of a life. • You cannot be cursed by the same word twice in one day. ~~ • Everyone must have five lines of dialog a day. Dialog counts as one sentence. In order for it to count, it must have at least 5 words and make sense. 3 words must be 4+ letters long. • Failure to meet the quota will result in a life loss and a lil' prod. • All comments must be spoken fully. No abbreviations, no contractions and no typing like this "Hi guy s how are you all doi ng tod ay?".
~POINTS~
+ 1= Every Witch you curse + 1= Every Witch you've saved (This would count as people who've voted another witch up that would cursed another.) + 2= Every time you save yourself (Same as above) + 3= Speaking the most during the day (Counted by complete sentences) + 3= Every Witch you kill (Cursing another witch on the day they die) + 5= Being the last witch standing.
RNG is never good for any strategy based game. Please learn the definition of what that means, especially if you're one of the people constantly defending it.
