I recently played as Mayor and medium.
It was classic solo, nothing speciall happened, no error message, can't provide ss as i thought about reporting this bug too late.
No sun icon at the top, couldn't reveal and use seance.
Seems that I have it through steam only, on web it was working fine

First and foremost I always advise to reinstall Adobe AIR and verify your game cache.
