As the semi runner of the DR subforum, and as its main advocate for existing(And also previous subforum mod until Chris decided to remove them), most prolific host and a player since game 1.

Do not host a game unless you:
A) Have played the actual Danganronpa games (Or at least watched the anime)
B) Have played more than 3 of the normal stage DR games (MH doesnt count) so you know how the flow works.
C) Have a full plan for the games direction, and have Trusted user status(For the PM space)
D) Have enough management skills to micromanage 16 peoples every location and active PM chains.
E) Aren't doing it "cus it sounds cool".

We're having such a DR Drought that the only way you can really play three+ games is if you were active in the DR Subforum pre last year.

But, I guess I can hope

New player hosts have without question, always been mediocre.
Plus lack of prior playing means if the hosting style gets more than expected, increases the dropping the game chances.

There are some people that genuinely want to make a new experience for people, just automatically putting them in a corner saying: "no trust, probably gonna fail" will just make things worse.

So, I'll hope for some more games to happen, but I still think his way of handling things isn't the best.

Thats cus they sorta have a incredibly weak track record.

People try new things all the time.
This particular forum game has evolved drastically from its first appearance.

Exists and they are free to post these new experiences there their games there, nobody will stop them.
This subforum has had a large amount of canned games in its past.
And I would rather have 1 completed one every month, than 3 canned ones in half that time.

Those canned games are by hosts who have either:

• Played one game of this and assumed they got how it works.
• Played no games here and wanted to try it out.
• Tried new things and over complicated their workloads.
• Lacked motivation to actually finish

You really don't get it.
This "method" is a newish guideline to prevent further fuck ups.
Since those who don't learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.

Ideas are good and all.
But implementing them into a predetermined game formula without dragging the rest down is not easy.
There is both the Masterlist and Discussion Thread to bring up ideas.

And its because people discussed things out we got MH games in their current state.

I do not dislike creative progress.
I do dislike people trying to bring their creativity, and letting everyone else down with failed and cancelled attempts.

It would be hard to host the game without knowing the game. At least you should watch from youtube I guess

Take it from me Q; Ideas are great, I invented a new game ode.
But it only worked when Sarah hosted it. They perfected the formula that I created.
(Though it is just the Future Arc of the anime as a forum game, but Ii did it because I thought you could do so much more with FAs than what they did.)

And keep time logs on each message too

Yeah like 100+ actions a day gets hard to manage.

Create a discord sever
I like put the name- their actions into a chat channel. More incase too many informations

Just dont do that at all.
And do what I do.
Note pad with all names and their locations.

Thats legit all thats needed.
Registering all actions elsewhere is dumb and a waste.
