This D2 vet bait works well in games with Forger, Janitor or Medusa: "Wait... I have important info!" right before the day ends but you should never vet bait D1, it's a pretty bad strategy in any gamemode.

I agree. This has become so overused and detrimental that I have begun ignoring it entirely. Anyone who says TP/LO on me gets no help from me because it is just asking for trouble and makes me unable to play the game my way.

Veteran usually doesn't do well as a baiting role. It usually does well as an endgame role. Think of it as a last resort to turn the tide.

If you do such, then maf, and NK gona avoid you in fear of being watched, or get killed by bg.

And TP, lookout, spy gona visit you in hope to get confirmed, or just protect you since you are probably important.

The chance of killing a townie with such tactic is even greater, than going n1 alert without a word.
