When you get executed placing a mafia name and a non-mafia name in the will then execute the non mafia name first. Thereby showing the will is false and hiding the mafia man away.

So what I'm getting is a fake gamethrow strategy. You put a non-Mafia guy's name in your will first, then a Mafia member's name. When they kill the first guy, he is revealed to be non-Mafia, thereby making the other Mafia member look legit, since he was put with a non-Mafia.

It's a dumb strategy that can and will go south almost every time. Few people will believe it, and it probably will end up killing another Mafia member.

In ranked, I like to make town think that the "Any" is a Blackmailer.
So anybody who claims "Any" will be lynched since the Town thinks the "Any" is BMer.
This only works only in a 3 member mafia, though.

I mean, this could work, but the big problem with this is that the town doesn't always take the first name first to be lynched. Especially in Ranked where people scumread all the time and (I assume) hold lists with suspicious people, if they only have the mafia member on that list that person will get lynched. I definitely wouldn't try this, way too risky and as stated above, borderlines gamethrowing.

Playing devil's advocate for a bit however, it could work, since
1. The nonmafia is lynched/killed first, ''''confirming'''' the mafia as town (what was posted by the OP), or
2. The mafia is lynched/killed first, ''''confirming'''' the nonmafia as mafia.
However it's way too situational, any TI could confirm or deny either person and it's bye bye strategy, and since you don't have many mafia members to begin with, you kinda lost mafia the game.

I wouldn't call this gamethrowing, but it is not a good strategy imo. People will not fall for it normally, and it could result in huge problems for the Mafia if two of their members are dead.

Gamethrowing: Intentionally going against your faction's goal or hurting the faction.

In a 3 man Mafia, risking the life of one of your own, on the off chance that a Townie will be mislynched, is very rarely going to result in a win for the Mafia, especially when you're already dead. Even after "confirming" the other person in the will, they'll still have to avoid the Jailor, Sheriff, Investigator, Escort, Bodyguard, Veteran and Neutral Killing. And that's assuming the Town didn't decide to lynch your Mafia before the other person in your will.

It's far too risky and would almost never work, so I'd say continuously using this "strategy" would be gamethrowing.

get a teammate to fake blackmail (or if a jester/exe is doing it follow along)
next day you get fake blackmailed
if a spy calls either of you out, next day start spamming a fake sheriff/invest will telling everyone that they're the BMer
if no spy, do the same darn thing.
when they flip town, say the following phrases
"OMFG"
"I'm literally done."
"Gonna commit soduko now."
Works 10/10 times for me.

I think it falls under the category of bussing... obviously they are not the same strategy but they both make a mafia member at risk in order to gain an advantage in the game. And bussing is not gamethrowing
