I think that it would be easier if it picks a random person and aligns with whatever faction that they are in. The biggest problem with this is that it is too swingy. Also, what if there is no Jailor or Mayor? It seems like a Neutral version of the Tracker, and I think that this role would be the most helpful as Town.

1. I like that selection idea, but this way its less RNG and eliminates the possibility of a witch, surv, or Prophet getting picked
2. I have completely based this off my own ideas not the tracker or anything, but if it has any coincidences they weren't intentional.
3. The important part of this the way it swings with the factions, its ability is just a compliment.
4. It is meant to be swingy because that way it adds a certain harder element to the game with potentially any faction getting a buff.
5. If there are no jailor or mayor it goes to the next killing role in the game, vig, then vet and then investigator. If there are none of these role someone is doing something seriously wrong, but after those it goes to Medium, Lookout, spy, Body Guard, Retributionist, and then Escort.
