Mass Murderer [Neutral (Killing)] [Maybe a WW rework?]

Name:
Mass Murderer

Summary:
A crazed spree killer who thinks entrail-spilling is an art form.

Alignment:
Neutral (Killing)

Attack: Basic
Defense: Basic
Priority: 5th

Abilities:
-Attack someone each night.

Attributes:
-Your attack is a Rampage.
-After a successful multikill, you will not be able to kill for one night.
-You will appear to be not suspicious when not kill capable.
-You may target yourself to kill your visitors.
-Counterattacks by Bodyguards will prevent your rampage.

Special Attributes:
None.

Goal:
Murder anyone who would oppose you!

Win Conditions:
Neutral Killing wincon.

Investigative Results:
Investigator: Your target is a (TBD).
Sheriff: Normal nights= Your target is a Mass Murderer. Kill incapable nights= Your target is not suspicious.
Consigliere/Witch: Your target enjoys brutal displays of violence. They must be a Mass Murderer.

Additional Information:
The night after killing two or more people, this role will not be able to kill and will appear to be not suspicious.
This role can be roleblocked, but will not rampage at home.

Role Interaction:
No unique interactions.

Notification Text:
Choosing a target: You will (instead) commit a mass murder at [Playername]'s tonight.
After a successful multikill: You have sated your need for bloodshed for the night.

Reason for Idea:
This role is based on the Mass Murderer from the Starcraft 2 Mafia.
I was intending for it to either serve as a stand alone NK or a WW mechanic replacement.
I have come to find out my role functions almost exactly like the role from the Starcraft 2 Mafia, just a few personal touches added.

Debatable Things in Mind:
Delay between killing after multikill (one night or two?)

Achievements:
(WIP)

Lore:
(WIP)

TL;DR:
A rampage based NK who could work as a potential WW rework.

Changes:
None so far.

Fair warning, I know many of the ideas in this are pretty shitty/unbalanced, but I have a lot more knowledge of role mechanics and balancing now than I did then.

Yeah call this a werewolf rework. It's basically WW with slight changes.

Also the name Mass Murder is basically Serial Killer.

Yeah, I didn't have a good name for it, then I remembered the role pretty much exists in SC2 Maf, so that just became the point when I chose the name.

Hmm. But you can target yourself after a multi kill? Seems broken.

One night multikill delay.

Would be better then WW as it means that it can do stuff. BUT…
Kinda goes against SK. MM can still do the 1 kill a night a SK can, but is still guaranteed at least a 1 kpn if someone visits the target.

In a game of 14 civilians, the MM and SK perform the same. But throw in visiting roles? Suddenly, MM kinda overshadows SK.

/halfsupport, needs a nerf to keep SK viable.

It performs same as SK until TPs get involved. For instance doc and crus will still force the multikill rest period even if they're the only other visitors. If it seems like a decent nerf then the rest period can be extended.

However, I want to hear what nerfs you have in mind.

Simple. Give other NKs like SK the ability to choose to stab a roleblocker, but not this role.

That would work. Stil doesn't solve being a better SK though. I want to say 2 night delay, but that might be too much.

Maybe I could remove partial detection immunity.

That would make it:
SK- Basic attack, attack every night, always found by sheriff, attacks rbers.
MM- Basic attack, attack every night until a multikill, always found by sheriff, susceptible to rb.

It's KPN can be screwed.

Oh, right. A roleblocker can easiky ruin a NKs day whether or not they can kill.

But by the same token, they hve to be found out or random guessed.
