Because the Interviewer needed new Interview results for TG with the recent comings and goings of TG roles, the Interviewer has changed its ability and it would be stupid to not update it and I feel like with these changes, allowing people to be notified and give their feedback on the change whether good or bad is necessary

People can change their vote if they disagree with the change, plus many people who make changes later on keep the polls the same

I agree. Reset it without the (comment why please). It's kinda like a blackmail scheme; you tell people you want feedback on anything less than 5, so people would be more likely to choose the answer that has the least obligation.

Buuuuuut on the other hand, it's not all that different from when it was before.

I'd rather not and keep the past support on this role as it may be useful in the future, fixing petty things with a giant drawback is not the way of doing things. People may see this as braggart-like and boastful but I'd rather keep the past Support on the role for everyone to see

The first couldn't be further from the truth, and second couldn't possibly be taken as other than boastful, unless the first is true. (which it isn't)

The point of past mistakes is to improve on them, but that's not possible if you already fixed them & know more.
All a poll does is remind people how good this role was when it went up.

It may look similar, but it had quite a few changes in the past, mainly because of the role-ranking system. People may have liked it when there were 5 tiers, or the ability that wasn't a scientist ripoff & nerfed it exponentially, but they could also no longer care about the role or be on the forums.

It's there for showing the support the role used to and still has. Many roles other than me have done this where they set up a petition in the poll section and don't restart after each minor edit of the role, I even give the option to vote if you dislike it too. It's the same thing as subscribing to a YouTuve channel, you may have 3,000,000 subs but around a quarter doesn't watch them anymore and is subscribed just because they liked them in the past, even though the channel has changed since then

But I think it's more valuable to know how many support or have supported this role than opinions based on the newest change, if people think negatively it's better to hear their complaints than see a (No) vote on a poll, I have no clue why they vote (No) anyway so it's not valuable to me in the slightest

Confirmed Town getting a Different result with Unconfirmed Scum, or a Scientist clo- I mean Interviewer getting the "3 levels below" BS.

On the surface it may seem Scientist is stronger, however with the last set of abilities Interviewer was actually much stronger than Scientist with quick confirming Town roles making it easier for Interviewer to just pick someone mostly confirmed and out scum easily, confirming the town role as town even more, with this however it limits it to just follow one particular link instead of it having the freedom to choose

The other powerful thing the Interviewer has is that the results are very imbalanced so scum have little to no claimspace which Scientist doesn't have and when scum are caught they are almost sure to get lynched. I don't think this is the final iteration of Interviewer though, I think if I can make the Interviewer results more fair on scum and then make it so it can target 2 targets then it will be better, its just how to balance something as swingy as Interviewer results and what will work and what won't
