Hello all, and welcome to everyone's favourite(???) forum game:
Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Danganronpa Dilemma -Dammit We Have to Finish A Game Original Edition!

THIS IS ANALPHA BETA GAMMA TEST OF THE GAME
Rules: Spoiler: 1) To win this game, you must fulfill your role's win conditions! Most roles have the goal to escape, which may be done through the "Number 12 Door." This door will only open if someone attempts to open it and has achieved 12 points via the Ambidex Game.
2) There are many roles who have another goal on top of escaping, to win you must both escape and fulfill your goal. There are also a few roles who do not win by escaping at all.
3)There are 5 phases of this game:
- The Planning Phase (24 hours): a short phase where everyone plans on who they go with and to what room, your choices here dictate the person you play against in the Ambidex Game.
- The Puzzle Phase (??? hours): where teams go through a passageway and search for answers along with the way out. No posting in the main thread during this phase.
- The Roaming Phase (72 hours): here people can meet up, speak with each other, and move around. This is done entirely through PM chains, no posting in the main thread during this time.
- The Investigation Phase (48 hours), The Trial Phase (36 hours): If someone was murdered during Roaming, you may search for clues about whodunit.
- The Ambidex Phase (48 hours): you and your partner (if you have one) enter an AB booth together and vote against the group you did your puzzle with. Will be explained in detail!
3b) During any phase you may private message a moderator with actions, these allow you to do things without other's knowing, and if no one can post, serve as your way to navigate the building and communicate with people in the same room. Some phases have a short buffer period between them, no actions will be accepted at those times.
4) Do not join this game if you cannot be active! This game is unlike DR, actions are not turn-based, they are live. We will accept replacements for this game, but having to find one severely disrupts the flow of the game.
Player Rules:
Spoiler: 1) Be respectful to other players and your hosts.
2) YOU MAY NOT CLAIM NOR ACCUSE SOMEONE OF BEING A ROLE. There will be no "beating around the bush," either. Both LinearPoint and myself will crack down hard on this. The following are example situations when you may even SAY a role:
"A Believer must have revived him!"
"A Hacker changed the options!"
etc.
You may, however, discuss roles as much as you like in a Pair chat.
3) You may only kill someone during the Ambidex Game or during Roaming. Roaming results in Investigation/Trial, Ambidex Game will result in the option to have a special punishment.
4) If at any time you are said to be unconscious, you may not post nor make actions until a moderator announces you have woken up.
5) All actions must be bolded. If they are not bolded, we will not acknowledge them.
6) Do not talk about the game outside of game means. You will ruin the game if you share information over Skype or any other method. So please don't.
7) To ensure that you have read all of the rules, include the word "hope" in your signup post. It will be your own fault if you cannot join because of this rule. :p
The Ambidex Game:
Spoiler: Your purpose is to gain 12 points in the Ambidex Game. Everyone starts out with 3.
There will be 4 Solo assignments and 8 pair assignments. Therefore, there will be 4 SolovsPair groups.
Point deduction/addition:
Ally vs Ally = +2/+2
Ally vs Betray = -2/+3
Betray vs Ally = +3/-2
Betray vs Betray = +0/+0
Some people will have partners to vote with. Each partner casts a vote. Here is how that will work:
Ally + Ally = Ally
Ally + Betray = Betray
Betray + Ally = Betray
Betray + Betray = Betray
Note: only the Betrays announced in the results will count towards a Chaotic's victory.
Notes:
Spoiler: This game is going to have two hosts; therefore, LinearPoint will handle some things while Aeolian handles others.
Ambidex Puzzle: We will share equally.
Discussion: LinearPoint posts all options, and will announce when one has been decided.
Puzzle: We will share equally.
Roaming: Aeolian will announce players may discuss until Roaming begins. LinearPoint will handle Roaming by himself.
Investigation: Aeolian will handle Investigation by himself.
Trial: Aeolian will handle Trial by himself.

You are the Believer
Abilities: During Roaming, you may revive one person once per game. They will be revived after the next Ambidex Game. You cannot kill or vote Betray.
Win Condition: Escape.
You are the Detective
Abilities: You have a one-time ability to extend an Investigation Phase by 48 hours. You also have a footstep detector - during Investigation, you may use it in a room to see if a killer had entered it and when. Three time use per Investigation phase.
Win Condition: Eliminate all Killing roles, Escape.
You are the Officer
Abilities: If you see someone attacking another player, you will use your taser on the attacker. The attacker will be knocked out and will wake up after the next Ambidex Game. You may not kill, nor may you ask anyone to kill someone else.
Win Condition: Escape, Escape with only Good, Pair, or Benign roles.
Pair
You are an Agent/Agent
Abilities: You may communicate with your partner, (partner name), at any time other than the Ambidex Game. Your target is the (role).
Win Condition: Eliminate your target, Escape (if one of you escapes with your target eliminated, you both win) ALTERNATIVELY If you don't kill your target, escape with fewer than or equal to two people (including your partner).
You are a Conspirator
Abilities: You may communicate with your partner, (player name), at any time other than the Ambidex Game. Once per game, you may choose a group that will neither gain nor lose points in the next Ambidex Game. Must be decided during Roaming, and you both must agree.
Win Condition: Escape, Escape with fewer than or equal to three people (including your partner) (if one of you escapes with less than or equal to three people, you both win).
You are a Telekinetic
Abilities: You may communicate with your partner, (player name), at any time even during the Ambidex Game. You share pain - if one of you dies, the other dies. If one of you gets knocked out, the other gets knocked out. During Roaming, you may ask the location of one person at anytime. You may change who this person is in the next Roaming.
Win Condition: Escape (if one of you escapes, you both win).
Benign
You are the Amnesiac
Abilities: At any time, you may choose to become the role of a person who is already dead. You cannot kill.
Win Condition: You cannot win as an Amnesiac.
You are the Armour
Abilities: Your role is announced at the start. You cannot be killed outside of Trials and the Ambidex Game.
Win Condition: Escape.
You are an Average Joe
Abilities: You will become a new role after the first Ambidex Game.
Win Condition: You cannot win as an Average Joe.
You are the Doppelganger
Abilities: You must kill someone, afterwards you become their role and take their items.
Win Condition: You cannot win as a Doppleganger.
You are the Esper
Abilities: You know what your opponent will choose in the AB game. Your vote will look like this:
/vote ___ if partner votes ___ and opponent votes ___
Win Condition: Escape.
You are the Lover
Abilities: Your target is (player name), you win if they escape. They do not have to complete their win conditions, just escape.
Win Conditions: Your target escapes ALTERNATIVELY If your target dies, Escape with two or more people.
You are the Senior
Abilities: Two times per game you can force an option after one has already been decided (applies to Discussion & Trial phases). You cannot force two Discussion options nor two Trial votes. Your vote also counts as two.
Win Conditions: Escape.
You are the Sneak
Abilities: During Roaming, you may sneak around rooms undetected and listen in on conversations. When you enter a room while sneaking, you must choose somewhere to hide, and you will be informed who is in the room (you will be found if someone checks your hiding spot). Private Message LinearPoint if you want to listen in on conversations, they will be forwarded to you.
Win Condition: Escape.
You are the Tinkerer
Abilities: You may combine objects to create unique objects. For example: grenade knives. You also start out with three special items (all of which are hidden). There are items hidden around that only you may find. You have predetermined combinations, ask if you want to know what you can make with your current items.
Win Condition: Escape.
Disruption
You are the Chaotic
Abilities: Once per game you may swap around two people's BP. You cannot vote Betray.
Win Condition: You win if there are six total betrayals in the Ambidex Game.
You are the Demolitions Expert
Abilities: You may plant a bomb during a Roaming phase. If someone nears your explosive, they will be knocked out and will wake up after the next Ambidex Game. You are informed when your explosive detonates. One explosive knocks out one person, cannot be yourself. Explosives also remain active until they are detonated.
Win Condition: You win if you knock out three people total.
You are the Hacker
Abilities: Every pre-puzzle phase, you may swap around two people. Say if X is a red solo, and Y is a blue pair, you can make X the blue pair, and Y the red solo. The swap will not take effect until an option has been decided.
Win Condition: Escape.
You are the Maniac
Abilities: You can steal and plant items without anyone knowing. If you steal a knife from someone, you will have one point towards victory. However, if you plant that knife on someone, it will not count. You must steal/plant UNIQUE items.
Win Condition: You steal or plant a unique item ten times total (you won't win if you just stand there taking from and giving to someone the same item).
You are the Terrorist
Abilities: You have an EMP bomb - if it successfully detonates, all players excluding you lose 3 BP. During the first Roaming Phase, you may place your EMP bomb in any room. When the next Roaming Phase begins, players will be alerted that a Terrorist has placed a bomb. Afterwards, there will be 48 hours of discussion. During this time, players have three tries to determine who planted the bomb. If they guess correctly, your bomb malfunctions. If they guess incorrectly (or if time runs out), your bomb detonates.
Win Condition: Detonate your bomb, Escape ALTERNATIVELY Be the only person to Escape.
Killing
You are the Cleaver
Abilities: You start off with a hidden fire ax. You cannot be killed while holding your ax. The final door will not open if you are alive.
Win Condition: You must kill four people yourself ALTERNATIVELY All good roles are dead.
You are the Hunter
Abilities: You can check to see if someone is your target during every Roaming phase. You may also ask if your Ambidex partner is your target. You start out with a hidden gun with a single bullet that can only be used to kill your target.
Win Condition: Kill your target, Escape.
You are the Obsessor
Abilities: You must find your doll. The doll is randomly assigned to someone, the only way to transfer the doll is via killing. If someone kills your doll's holder, that killer now has it. You must kill the person holding your doll. If your doll gets transferred, you will be informed who had it LAST, not now.
Win Condition: Find your doll, Escape.
You are the Psychopath
Abilities: Between two Ambidex Games, you must kill someone. If you do not, you will kill your Ambidex partner. If you have no Ambidex partner, you will kill yourself.
Win Condition: Escape.
