Well, since the Jailor was killed there's no point hiding it anymore.

I was the one jailed last night.
I have nothing to hide, so I'm saying this now, even with Santa not providing a Will that I was the one jailed.
Santa probably just jailed me because of Australian reasons.

As far as I'm aware, I was not attacked or doused or anything while I was jailed. I'm not sure if Santa is informed of this instead of me.
Once more people check in, we should be able to predict the NK roles and determine further progression.

I will be honest though: I thought James was the Jailor at first considering his odd obsession with that 10 player list.
That would have been a Neasans-level of softclaiming though, which would have been plausible for James'.... interesting tactics.
However the fact that James was NOT the Jailor has me very concerned, especially with James himself in that list.

So I'll leave some questions to consider once everyone has checked in:

1) Ignoring James, who are your top 3 most scummiest reads and why?
2) Who are your top 3 unconfirmed Town reads and why?
3/4) Should we continue ignoring James or do something about it as he is not the Jailor? Is he really a misunderstood Town?

I'll be expecting these questions to be answered by everybody.
Or if you don't want to give a Top 3, you can just give your entire Reads list.

I don't think we have reason to be suspicious of James and the convenience of a Jailor actually existing as he's not actually the Jailor. Is it really going to be the ploy of a Serial Killer? I'm skeptical, especially given that you weren't attacked, Sturps.

I think there's probably going to be something more along the lines of dousings going silent or perhaps an attack getting absorbed somehow. That, or perhaps a Marshal made good use of their time last night.


As for James...... let's just say he's proven to be a solo lunatic before. I don't trust him at all, on both an alignment perspective AND his judgment calls. I don't think of him as a capable person at all, and I guess only time will tell the rest of it.

I'll have to come up with some reads later. Yesterday wasn't enough time to work with what everyone's bringing forward right now, and I'd like to see if the night actions can give us any clues.

Okay. So we have two Neutral Killing actions unaccounted for, and the only thing that can nullify them is delibrate silence, immunity, or a Marshal. Perhaps a roleblock, supposing the targets of the (Esc/Cons)orts or Jailor was an Arsonist. But as for Serial Killers, if someone was knowingly rescued, I don't see why they'd withhold that information.

He tried to brush off the suspicion of the list as 'It was just the first 10 people on the player list', which conveniently included himself.
He also told the people on that list to not reveal that they were Jailed.

I'm not saying that it was an SK ploy with 100% certainty, and I'm not one to point fingers this early, but even you can't deny the small chance that a meta outcome like that can occur, and that's where my concern arises. It can easily backfire as the Jailor could have a will outing them, but as we saw today, the Jailor might not include a will at all, leading to a free D1 death as the Jailor can't execute and an SK giggling behind the scenes as they 'slept peacefully'.

I'm making a special note to watch James' posts carefully from now on.

I am not accepting meta based arguments.

This meta argument is an extremely relevant exception to this game.
