Spy seeing mafia chat. All it does is force the Mafia to actually have some form of skill in the game during the night. The fact that they immediatly know if there is a spy now just gives them a slight benefit more that they never needed. The fact of the matter is it separates the players that are good at the game compared to the ones that are bad, and forces them to utilize other communication then just the chat to perform activities at night.

Your taunt system is stupid. They are not scrolls. I can deal with them if you just had to buy the taunt to start with but having a specific number of them is probably the most unintellectual idea you could come up with. Their purpose was the add another fun edge to the game that you could possibly use to manipulate or confuse other teams into thinking you will be visiting targets, or distract people that night. Placing a maximum amount you can use on them makes people use them even less, to the point where it's pointless to buy them, or gives players that can afford lots of them an unfair advantage, making the game pay to win.

I would sooner reccomend just having them buy it the first time and keep it forever. Else just make them free, and everyone can use them without purchase at all.

I feel like I have a good perspective on the change. I started playing back in December, and so I've gotten to play Spy both the "new" and the "old" way.

When I first started, I felt like I had to be a bit more secretive about my information, and I was usually afraid to give out the visit lists, and kept everything in my will because the mafia didn't know I was there listening and tracking them. Now though...oye! The hate Spy gets from the Mafia at night has been mind-boggling. The thing is, when it boils down to it, there really wasn't a role change so much as a change in notification. I actually do like them knowing I'm watching. It forces a behavioral change in them, which allows me to focus on who they're visiting and keep an accurate will. Also, since they know when the Spy is there, I feel like there's more incentive for me to report something big that happened, and perhaps catch one or two in the process (which has happened).

All in all, I don't mind it either way. It's just a change in strategy. Ultimately though, you're still relying on other Townies.

Multiple Arsos are OP now, maybe at a limit on how many there can be?

Even just one Arsonist can have far too great of an effect on a game of All Any.

Ever since this update, there's been a lot of weird odds of me getting certain roles, too ?
This kinda ties in with the 3 arsos above.
The roles that I was stuck with within an actual 5 game span was; 3 maf / 1 sk / 1 townie

Were evil role odds boosted, or...?

I've been getting Executioner more often which is cool, but it pisses me off that I get Neutral Killing every 4 games.

The roledistribution was not changed so it is purely your "Luck" that the RNG wants you to get those roles.

My luck got me Retributionist in 3/4 games in a row (the other time I was Werewolf).

Remember that scrolls other players use also influence your RNG, so it's completely feasible to get the same role a couple times in a row.

As long as you did not enchant yoru brew with a buyable potion, you were brewing a random brew and thus your reward is random. One can get other rewards from it.

Also note that if you own everything else, that's pretty much all you will get. Once you have max everything, you'll just start getting Merit Points and sometimes Town Points.

I was playing Ranked though, so I don't think it's as likely, especially since nobody used scrolls.
I'm only pointing this out because I seem to get the same role every few games (one time I played five Ranked games in a row and for three of them I was an Investigator).
I guess my question is "Is the role distribution weighed in any way?"

I also play on tablet

The problems are

1) You crash halfway through the game
2) It's laggy af

So now I just stopped playing because I don't want to be reported for 'leaving' when I crashed.

Taunts. Where are they.

Good day,
I've noticed that there aren't many/any taunts being used. I think it's because you have to pay for each individual taunt and that's not fun. I think you should make them cost 500 gold coins instead of 50 and make them permanent. This way, we'll see taunts more often.
I know what you're thinking : "But, if they're unlimited, then EVERYONE will start spamming them EVERYWHERE!". Well, my friend, that would not be the case since not all of the players have gold coins anyways. And if it gets out of control, you could simply make a taunt cap (1/2 per mach or somthing).
Also, there should be way more taunts, like someone shooting at their door, or holding up a knife.
