Console has been cancelled and customizing character isn't going to be a thing for a good, long while, if at all.

Not necessarily "cancelled" just postponed and TBD at a later time. We realize there are a lot of things we need to improve in ToS before we dedicate resources to another port. If sometime next year we are in a position where a console port would be a great thing then we will do it

Mobile will be finished soon which gives us our development team back to focus on core ToS features. We plan on spending the entire second half of 2016 implementing many features, role balances and new roles that everyone has wanted for a long time. Customizable characters is actually a plan for the second half of this year, so it might be coming along sooner than you think
