Is Veteran not supposed to be unique in the Coven? We had two and Amne didn't remember it.

I think he means that some features will be available for non-purchasing players.

Not that new roles/mechanics will actually be added into the "Classic" game mode.

I'm just going to put it bluntly

Yes I would pay for it, and yes I would regret paying for it.

It's going to kill the playerbase flatout. Yea you'll scam maybe a few thousand people out of 10 bucks then itll live for a while longer then it'll fade into obscurity because there just won't be enough players willing to pay and online at the same times to support it. It's delusional.

I intended to log in today and play because its been a couple weeks and this being my favorite logic game i didn't want to get rusty but I don't even feel like playing now.

As much fun as it sounds it's not gonna survive, it'll just get replaced by something similar (cough, as it has before) at best or cease to exist at worst. Neither of which are going to help you out in the long term.

Ah and since i didn't bitch about it before because it was only a couple of dollars i'll do it now. I tried on 2 separate occasions to buy some of your in game deals (the browser version) got charged and received nothing. So i'm definitely not going to try again. (how the fuck you managed to make a debit card go into the negatives is beyond my fucking comprehension by the way, so congrats i guess)

Scam how? I'm going to pay for it, and I know exactly what I'm getting. Anyone can go play it right now on the PTR. I don't see how it's a scam at all.

Scam implies that it's ripping people off. This is an expansion, so I people don't NEED to buy it and those who do will get what they paid for.

This is exactly why I posted what I did, and people like Erravi think I was responding to them, but in reality I wasn't. It was a simple, general statement.

People really think I'm an idiot sometimes, but I know what I'm talking about. :| Maybe one day some people will learn.

It's just scummy that BMG weren't being upfront with the fact that it was going to be a paid DLC. But it doesn't matter anymore so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The expansion will be available for purchase in early June. The release date may vary depending on how things go with our public testing. On release it will only be available through Steam, but we are working on a purchase that can be made through the browser with PayPal, and through the respective app stores once we get our new and improved mobile port released. This will be a $10 expansion, but anyone who already owns the Steam version of Town of Salem gets a $5 discount. We are so excited to get all of this work out there for you all to experience and hope you enjoy everything we made!

Do you have any issues with havign to read something to an end?
As far as I hav heard is what comes last will be kept in mind better, thus people don't forget that coven is something they have to buy before accessing.
Disclaimer: I try to abide by the game's softfilter and use the appropriate replacements, when I am using the forums. Those will be set in brackets. Example: [tarnation]

If anything, I say it's better at the end than the start. You lure people in, show them all these cool new things, then you snatch them with the cost. Some people might not read it at all if they see the price first, or they'll go in thinking "I don't want to pay money for this" rather than thinking "I really want to play this with friends!"

^^^ This. Everyone complaining about not getting the expansion because of the price tag, would you have even bothered reading the announcement if they had put the price first? Would you not have gone through the page, thinking "I won't buy this because I'm a skimp who doesn't like supporting game developers"? Or would you have gone onto these very forums and done exactly as you have now and complained about the price?.

Make them want it. Get their hopes up. Then they're more likely to buy it, or bug someone like their parents to buy them it. Nice? No. BMG isn't the first not-nice company.

The Coven DLC if you own ToS on Steam = $5

Isn't it a given that FTFY follows a modified quote?

Also, are Pirate and Plaguebearer the only two new NCs or are there more?

Did I just say something about Coven? Don't trust me, I don't own it.

Oh shut up.

It's not like your petty quote debate matters at all. Honestly.
