Or you likely waited until the last few seconds of deciding, in which case, that would be why. Latency caused your action to not register.

I think dev confirmed that witching & not being notified only occurs with bg messages - like "You were killed protecting your target"

I have not seen a post from them saying that. I've posted it as a potential cause for other bug reports and nobody has said anything.

Are you sure it's a message and not visit?

Witch is roleblock immune, as it's action goes before the Escort/Consort; however, the game still sends the flag that they have been roleblocked to the Witched person, causing the message to not be displayed. (At least, this is my understanding of it. You'll have to ask a Dev for a more precise answer.)

Are you sure it's a message and not visit?

Witch is roleblock immune, as it's action goes before the Escort/Consort; however, the game still sends the flag that they have been roleblocked to the Witched person, causing the message to not be displayed. (At least, this is my understanding of it. You'll have to ask a Dev for a more precise answer.)

If you roleblock a Witch, her powers will go through, but she won't "visit" her target - Lookout won't see her, Werewolf won't kill her at that target's home. I did test that. However, I did not test the message not displaying but I am pretty certain it does appear if the Witch is roleblocked.

With escort roleblocking WItch, the message appears.. It only does not appear when getting killed by a Bodyguard. At least this was the only situation I experienced it in.

'escot' cornfirmed new role. When it summons ancient beings with the incantation 'nto apepars', you suffer the wrath of the elder god 'roelblockogin'.
