In passing for the next few hours. After later tonight, I'm going to be busy most of the weekend.

Okay, so Hip came back, verified what Cow's been telling us basically, enough to satisfy me, at any rate. At the very worst possible case scenario, Cow's being too harsh on Hip, I can only imagine this because I don't know what he actually saw, and I'm not going to ask because we don't need a whole bunch of negative utility roles being known to all scum.

Either way I imagine whoever else in this chat would have been up Cow's ass if anything in what he's said has been a lie, or might make a mislynch, and the fact that Hip's pretty much agreed to everything except the slip that Cow may or may not have misinterpreted is enough for me to act on. I think Cow's Town, so I don't mind giving him the bomb and letting him plan this out.

Okay so... everyone in this hood knows who else is in the hood, and Hip outs himself as scum... like, word for word, or he hardslipped?

Can't see Hip reaction testing a whole group of people... can't see Cow being lynched if Town!Hip if these hood guys know he's telling the truth... like, what, did Hip think that he was posting in a Mafia day chat or something?

This doesn't make any sense <_< because Hip doesn't even react afterwards

If Cow's lying about being a neighbour, I don't see any case, other than SvS, where Hip wouldn't be freaking out on Cow right now.

If Cow's telling the truth, I think it's more likely someone is being screwed with, whether that be Hip mindgaming Cow, or Cow mindgaming us. I can't see a legit TvS here where Scum!Hip casually claims being scum to Cow. Can't get there. And yeah, I think Cow wouldn't reveal this until he knew that Hip wasn't pulling his leg entirely.

If Cow's not a neighbourizer, claiming what he did about Hip, I see Hip being more confrontational about it if this were a TvS between Cow and Hip. SvS could explain it away if Cow doesn't neighbourize, but then this would pretty much link them as Mafia, wouldn't it? I can't see TvT Cow (not Neighbour) doing this to Hip and Hip being completely oblivious and fine with it.

Then if we suppose Cow is a neighbourizer, then forget the probability that he's telling the truth about Hip, because I see a plan being talked about behind the scenes. They'd talk about thread stuff before doing anything here. Town!Cow vs Scum!Hip where a Scum!Hip carelessly claims scum to Cow... I see Cow screwing with Hip more to learn either more about the scum team, or to figure out if Hip's screwing with him all along.

Not getting a good read on Cakez. What you've posted on him so far, I don't think that this is Cow-Cakez shenanigans behind the scenes either. I felt like I wanted to Town read him earlier as well, he came in giving me vibes like Weeb FM. Going to give this another read, but I thought I found myself liking him, I wasn't really looking too closely between him and Cow for associations.

You talk about their completely non-chalant posting at each other... I completely glossed over it, dismissing it for Day 1 fluff. Didn't really think more of it, so I'll look again.

Why would Scum!Hip claim scum to Cow in a neighbour chat if he has no way of knowing Cow's alignment?

I don't know if I take Hip seriously if what Cow says really happened, or if Cow's pulling something out of his ass to reaction test Hip. Or whatever the hell Cow would invent to push discussion forward.

Still not sure why you connect Rhazh/Cow v Hip, I really think Rhazh's reaction was more of a panic vs Rock. The one thing that makes me frown is Rhazh completely freaking right the fuck out, claiming... the same role apparently, and then instantly concluding that Rock must be a scum counterpart. Never stopped for a second to consider Rock was reaction testing, which honestly, anyone doing lately doesn't surprise me anymore.

Not sure if the freakout is indicative, but if it is, I lean more Town on it. I'm more concerned what Rock's doing on that front.

TL;DR

Gut read tells me he's behaving as Scum!Rock like I remember Scum!Rock, but I don't know any recent games where Rock has been Town to know if it amounts to anything. But his general approach so far, it feels dismissive and defensive.

Okay, so I really don't know about Rock. On one hand, I feel like he's just being defensive and antagonistic, it's giving me vibes similar to what I felt wayyyy back in 6D. But on the other hand, I'm trying to think about a time where I clearly remember Rock being Town? Not coming up. Maybe I've just seen so much of him being scum that I don't know how else to meta read him.

About the person demanding the bomb being suicidal if scum... eh, not seeing this either. Don't get me wrong, I actually feel inclined to Town Read Cow for a change, but I just don't agree right now that he's Town only for demanding the Bomb. The person who gets the bomb can program it, and Mafia could do well with that information. Hell, any scum would benefit with that information, so I'm not going to think only the Jester-esque roles want it.
