I am interested to know why Kmenx killed me on Night 2. I was not surprised that I had died, but was expecting to die to the Mafia rather then to SK...

The very concept of Marshal is that it is a heavily nerfed Doctor. So what if it can scare away non-killing roles? I mean, sure, its better then nothing but if you are attacked by a Godfather and cleaned by a Janitor with one role being scared away, you would rather it be the Godfather rather then the Janitor. Marshal would scare away Janitor and let the Godfather kill you :/

The point is that regardless of whether or not you claim as Marshal and are confirmed, the role is very weak for a town protective.

I agree with Rick. Reclassify Marshal to Town Support.

Or make it so if someone has someone scared away from them by a Marshal, they get notified of it just as they would a Doctor heal or a Bodyguard protect.

I wasnt really following the thread, but why did the Jailor execute the Ret when there was an Executioner hardclaim on the table?

Why would the Jailor EVER take the risk by executing a Retributionist (even if 2 ret claims) when there is an easy non-town target in the Executioner?
Lynch one ret claim and if you lynch wrong, execute the other.

Sometimes people do things that make me really confused.

Chilly, James retracted his Retributionist claim and opted to claim Marshal instead. We no longer have any reason to keep him alive because he cannot bring back the Jailor.

I still feel that James might be Jester. And I dont want to be killed by a Jester, thats for sure. The Town will likely need my services later on, either by the abilities of my role or my abilities as a player; My best plays often come in the endgame rather then the early game.

Also I just realized its still Day 2 ... dafuq? I've been salting on James so long it feels like Day 4 already lol

Frankly I dont mind lynching a Jester, although I would like to think that he would have hardclaimed Jester or Phantom by now, given that it was an easy out for freelo. Then again, he is probably gamethrowing so who knows really :/

The only problem I would have with lynching Jester!James is that I really want to see him lose the game. He does not deserve to win regardless of his role. I would rather him shot then lynched almost but he is probably Phantom given that he does not care if he gets shot or lynched he just wants to die. If he is Phantom, I hope he picks the side that loses. I really really do.

Just end it already. I dont care anymore. Lets just move on and get this over with.

What bothers me most about James is their lack of defending themselves. They dont seem interesting in avoiding the noose - when he pulled something similar in 9A, he was trying at the end of the day to not be lynched, but I dont see that here. Frankly, he screams Jester to me, but even if he flips Jester, that is the NE taken care of and we no longer have to worry about a Bomber or a Witch. Also there are likely a fair amount of scum on the wagon if he is Jester so at least we have that going for us which is nice...

I will be voting james before the day is up, assuming no hammer has been made
